das würde bei uns nicht klappen. Die Züge auf die Minute genau zu steuern ist heute
technisch noch nicht möglich. Derzeit sieht man auf den digitalen Anzeigen nur, wann
der letzte Zug gefahren ist, nicht, wann der nächste kommt. Dieses Problem wird mit
dem Bau der neuen, vierten Linie und neuer IT gelöst sein.
Warum sieht man in den Stationen viele Mitarbeiter, die alles persönlich kontrollieren?
// Attila Auth Es gab viele Schwarzfahrer in der U-Bahn. Außerdem wird Vandalismus, z. B.
durch Graffitis, stark unterbunden. In Kürze wird aber ein elektronisches Ticketsystem
installiert, dann verschwinden auch die vielen Mitarbeiter aus den Stationen.
Welche Hilfestellungen haben Sie für Blinde vorgesehen?
// Attila Auth Bei jeder Station gibt es eine in Braille beschriftete Tafel mit den umliegenden
Bus- und Straßenbahnverbindungen. Außerdem gibt es zwei gewölbte, tastbare Pläne,
die über die Stationsinnenräume bzw. die oberirdische Umgebung informieren. Die in den
Boden gefrästen, taktilen Streifen und Funkfrequenzgeräte dienen ebenfalls der Orientierung
von Blinden. Die Taster in den Aufzügen sind ebenfalls mit Braille beschriftet.
Was würdest Du gerne gestalten, wenn Du drei Wünsche offen hättest?
// Attila Auth Ein Wunsch ist bereits mit der U-Bahn erfüllt. Mein zweiter Wunsch erfüllt
sich gerade. Das neue Leitsystem des Flughafens hier wird von uns gestaltet.
Der dritte Wunsch wäre ein Fußgängerleitsystem. Das derzeitige U-Bahn-Leitsystem
endet am Ausgang, und das ist schade, weil es dort nirgends anknüpft. Außerdem würde
es einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Identität der Stadt und ihrer Straßen liefern.
At the moment you can only see when the last train has passed on the digital display, not
when the next train will arive. This problem will be solved with the construction of the
new, fourth line and the use of new IT.
Why are there so much personnel in the stations? Why is there so much monitoring?
// Attila Auth A lot of people used the system without paying. And vandalism, graffiti, for
example is stopped this way. But an electronic ticket system will be installed shortly and
then all the people will disappear from the stations.
What kind of aids did you create for blind people?
// Attila Auth There are Braille panels in every station that explain the possible bus and
tram connections. There are also two large curved tactile maps that explain the interior
station spaces and the surroundings on the surface. The stripes milled into the station
floors and the frequency emitting devices also help blind people find their way. And the
buttons in the elevators also have Braille pads.
What would you like to design if you had three wishes?
// Attila Auth The subway was one that has already been fulfilled. My second wish is being
fulfilled at the moment. We are designing the new airport way finding system.
The third would be a pedestrian way finding system. The current subway way finding
system ends at the exit. That’s a shame because it doesn’t link up. And it would also make
a major contribution to the identity of the city and its streets.
