Collection of waste electronic

Disposal of electrical and electronic
equipment (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE) Directive
2002/96/EC)
Unneeded equipment must not be disposed
of in domestic waste but must
instead be separated appropriately
at the relevant local recycling centre
(public waste management authority).
Depending on the local authority, the
free disposal points can be used for
this purpose.

Batteries Act
Collection and disposal of spent
batteries and accumulators (BattG)
Batteries and accumulators
must not be disposed of
in domestic waste. Customers
are legally required to
return spent batteries and
accumulators. Used batteries may
contain harmful substances that can
be damaging to the environment or
health if not stored or disposed of correctly.
Batteries also contain important
raw materials, such as iron, zinc, manganese
and nickel, and are recycled.
Exhausted batteries and accumulators
must be handed in to recycling
centres or collection schemes operated
by the GRS Batterien Foundation
of which we are a member.
We are also entered in the register held
by the German Federal Environment
Agency.
Chemical substances in consumer
products
REACH Regulation EC No. 1907/2006
LINK is both a distributor (downstream
user) and an importer of preparations
and products.
With each order, we advise our suppliers
in writing to supply us with
RoHS and REACH-compliant goods
only. We also obtain a written statement
regarding REACH from our suppliers.
According to our current knowledge,
the products supplied to you do not
contain any of the substances on the
candidate list in a concentration of
over 0.1% (w/w).
Restriction of hazardous substances
RoHS Directive 2002/96/EC
This Directive applies to electrical and
electronic equipment falling under categories
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10 set
out in Annex 1 to Directive 2002/96/
EC (WEEE).
In this context, LINK requests from its
suppliers that the products provided
comply with the relevant substance
restrictions and do not contain any of
the prohibited substances in excess of
the stipulated threshold values.
Regulation on packaging
Disposal of sales and shipping packaging
(German Packaging Ordinance
- Verpack V)
Sales and shipping packaging must
not be thrown in the household waste
but must be disposed of using the
available collection systems (e.g. paper
bin, yellow bags etc.).
All packaging materials can be disposed
of via these collection systems.
- All packaging marked with the
„Green Dot“ symbol as well as
- All other sales, shipping and service
packaging (plastic carrier bags). We
have licensed these packaging materials.
