fully integrated PIN limiter/Schottky diode
module in a surface-mount package. The
Skyworks SKY16602-632LF provides passive
receiver protection in wireless or other
RF systems ranging in frequency from 200
MHz to 4 GHz. Capable of handling 100
W of pulsed power, the SKY16602-632LF
has a very low threshold of approximately
5 dBm, making it useful as a fine clean-up
limiter. Insertion loss is only 0.3 dB while
return loss is specified at 14 dB. Low distortion
highlights this device making it applicable
for use in military communication
transceivers, VSAT, S-band radar, jammers,
GPS and cellular infrastructure.

Coaxial Isolators for
mmWave 5G Infrastructure
RFMW announced design and sales support
for a series of coaxial, mmWave, 5G isolators
from DiTom Microwave. The D3I2731Q
isolator covers Ka-band frequencies from 27
to 31 GHz with 20 dB of isolation. A singlejunction
design, insertion loss is only 0.6 dB
maximum, preserving precious power in the
mmWave bands. Average power handing is
5 W (2 W reflected power). The D3I2731Q
is offered with 2.4 mm female connectors
having a maximum SWR of 1.25 and are
available with any combination of male or
female connectors on the input/output. 2.92
mm (K) connectors are also an option. With
operating temperatures from -20 to +65
°C, these isolators are suitable for in-box
applications or bench-top testing applications.
The isolator body measures 0.5 x 0.7

The Qorvo QPA8801 features a pushpull
cascode design providing flat gain and
ultra-low distortion. Ideal for DOCSIS 3.1
applications from 45 to 1218 MHz using
a single 12 V supply, the QPA8801 offers
excellent composite distortion at high efficiency
consuming only 4.5 W in a 5 x 7
mm QFN package. Providing 11 dB gain
at 1218 MHz with a CTB of -78 dBc and
CSO of -70 dBc, noise figure is 5.5 dB.
Applications include broadband CATV hybrid
modules, DOCSIS 3.1 amplifiers and
head-end CMTS equipment.

for a family of high-power switches from
Skyworks Solutions. Designed for TDD
2G/3G/4G micro and macro-cell base stations,
the SKY12241-492LF, SKY12242-
492LF and SKY12245-492LF deliver leading
performance and efficiency. As dataintensive
multimedia and IoT applications
continue to proliferate, cellular infrastructure
solutions must become more robust to meet
increasing network demands. These 50 and
100 W switches enable high data rates with
low power consumption for next generation
wireless devices. The SKY12241-492LF
provides 50 W CW power handling from

frequency divider modules that cover
broadband frequencies from 0.1 to 20
GHz. A comprehensive selection of 28
different models is offered with a variety
of fixed divide-by-ratios from 2 to
40. These prescalers are ideal for use
in phase locked loop (PLL) and frequency
synthesizer circuit designs, as
well as test instrumentation. Typical
