Aim of course
On the basis of the course Business Administration I the students shall learn about operations
management. In addition to the general view there will be a more specified approach for
different industries like manufacturing companies and service providers.

Special Features
Demands on company training
Company training shall serve as a deepening and an amendment to the theoretical studies. It
shall train a well-grounded approach to microeconomic questions in the company by giving
the students the opportunity to get a closer look especially to the business with firms of the
selected industries. As the course focuses on processes in companies of different industries,
like manufacturing, services and trading, students should get on overview how processes of
operations are managed between participating departments within the processes. The un-
