The biggest hurdle for the introduction of
wireless communication is the high investment
costs. In this case the hospitals must
rely on the support of the health insurance
companies. The target group interviewed
also expressed uncertainty in dealing with
the legal requirements. There is a need for
action particularly concerning the exact definition
of the legal framework, such as with
data privacy policies, certification, and federal
standards.
