of achievable high processing
power for fast processing of signals in
the development of mobile ultrasound
analyzers for veterinary medicine.
Die portablen Analysegeräte Ibex Lite und
Ibex Pro entstammen aus einer Kooperation
von NetModule und E.I. Medical und
ermöglichen mobile Ultraschalluntersuchung
in der Veterinärmedizin und professionellen
Tierzucht. Bei der Realisierung
der spezifischen Produktanforderungen
sparte die FPGA-Expertise von NetModule
den Entwicklern wertvolle Zeit, da die Verarbeitung
der für Ultraschallsignale erforderlichen
hohen Rechenleistung derzeit
nur mit FPGAs effizient erfolgen kann. Beide
Geräte sind extrem leicht, kostengüns-
tig, platzsparend und energieeffizient. Die
batteriebetriebenen Modelle funktionieren
in rauer, teilweise verschmutzter Umgebung
(Stall) bei Temperaturen von -20 °C
bis +50 °C problemlos über mehrere Stunden.
Dabei sind sie belastungsarm für die
untersuchten Tiere, liefern ein schnelles
Ergebnis bei hoher Präzision und trumpfen
mit niedrigen Kosten auf. Dank der hohen
Bildqualität und der problemlosen Auswertung
können die Züchter ihre Ergebnisse
unmittelbar vor Ort selbst kontrollieren
und sparen damit wertvolle Zeit.
