Hmmm. That’s not an easy question.<br />

Probably, THE BEATLES. Maybe, THE JAM.<br />
What is your favorite song in the set?<br />
I like “Donde Vas” because it has a lot of energy and a rather<br />
tricky bass line.<br />
What do you enjoy more: studio recordings or live gigs<br />
and why?<br />
I can’t say I enjoy one more than the other. They’re two very<br />
separate things.<br />
The studio is more a contemplative, creative place.<br />
Playing live is more kinetic, more emotional.<br />
If you will - something like the difference between writing a play<br />
and acting in it.<br />
In the past I didn’t really enjoy the studio so much. When I<br />
finally figured out how to do it, I became fascinated with the<br />
possibilities studio recordings could offer. Nowadays, so much<br />
can be done in pre-production that my recordings and writing<br />
have become intertwined. Recording in the digital age is a lot<br />
less limiting – I can do a lot my recording at home. I like that.<br />
Playing music live is where I get to connect directly with<br />
people. I enjoy the opportunity to experience immediate,<br />
personal reactions.
