What instruments do you play?<br />
I sing and play bass, guitar, piano, and harmonica.<br />
Guitar, mostly.<br />
When did you start playing music?<br />
My Dad gave me a guitar he’d made from a cigar box when<br />
I was a little boy. I’ve loved music and singing from a very<br />
early age on.<br />
I started to teach myself guitar when I was ten years old.<br />
I’m still learning.<br />
What other projects do you have?<br />
Apart from MAS SHAKE, I still play shows with my old<br />
band, SPY. We formed up, played mostly in Berlin, and then<br />
split up back in the 1990’s. We’re still good mates, though,<br />
and try to play a show every year (we’re playing The<br />
Schokoladen in Berlin, Mitte on Dec 30.) I’ve released an<br />
album of my own songs under the name SEASTONE and<br />
am still working on a second record for that project.
