Happy Feet Dance School
Happy Feet Dance School is a ballet school that focuses on
enriching students with a love and passion for dance by giving them
the correct tools to master the art. We follow the internationally
acclaimed Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and do exams once a
year. Exams are not compulsory, but is a fun way for students and
parents to follow their child’s progress.
Ballet is a great way to improve musicality, posture, flexibility,
strength, co-ordination, memory, improve confidence and overall
health. Some of our greatest actors and actresses were ballet
dancers, like Charlize Theron and Christian Bale to name but two.
In the 4th term we have our annual ballet show where students
are given the opportunity to demonstrate to an audience on a
stage what they have learned through the year. The students love
dressing up in costumes and look forward to receiving trophies at
the end of the show when everyone is rewarded for their hard work
through the year.
Classes are once a week for Vorschule and Grade 1’s and twice
a week for Grade 2-12. No prior dance experience is needed and
anyone is welcome, we welcome girls and boys alike and classes are
sculptured to suit both genders.
Classes are held on the school grounds at the Scouts Hall opposite
the tennis courts and next to the soccer fields.
Please note that the first lesson is a free demonstration lesson.

Modern Dancing at the DSP
The DSP dancers from Faymous Studio had a fun year filled with
dance. They worked very hard during the course of the year and
improved in leaps and bounds!
They really enjoyed performing in our annual studio show –
Dancetaria - which took place at Cornwall Hill College.
Thank you to all the great dance parents at DSP for always
supporting your children in all their dance endeavours! I really
appreciate it! To all the dancers: thank you for your commitment
and dedication to modern and hip hop! I’m looking forward to
another great year!
