To derive the nominal dimensions for wall openings from the basic dimensions see DIN 4172 and DIN 18100. Only height measurements of 1875 mm to 2125 mm
are defined in DIN 18101:1985. With the current door heights now exceeding this range, the specified dimensions for the hinge gaps have been widened.
For frames with no top panel the clear frame opening height is around 10 mm to 15 mm less depending on frame design. If necessary, ask the frame manufacturer
for the precise dimensions.
Arithmetically this measurement produces a handle height of 1050 mm from finished floor level.
