Steel DIN frames – Enquiries and orders

To make an enquiry or place an order, all you have to do is give us the short name for the frame model. In addition, we need the
following details:
1. Profile name as per catalogue / brochure
2. Sheet metal thickness
3. Frames for rebated or flush door leaves, where applicable citing door thickness / frame rebate depth
4. Plaster edge on rebate side and side opposite rebate
5. Counter-frame on rebate side and side opposite rebate
6. Floor recess
7. Type and number of hinge pockets and, where applicable, distances
8. Handle height, if differing from the standard 1050 mm, in the case of special frame rebate depths please state distance of the
punched latch/bolt hole from the counter-frame to the front edge of the punched area
9. Throat width = wall thickness incl. plaster in mm = finished wall thickness
10. Basic dimensions as per DIN 18100, and/or basic shell dimensions, frame rebate dimensions or door leaf outer
measurements, please always state what is meant (please do not mix different measurement groups, as if you do this inevitably
causes problems!)
11. Stops as per DIN 107 as DIN left or DIN right or as right/left stop
12. Sealing strip: model, quality, colour
13. Other details important for making the frame
14. Shipping address
15. Supplementary details such as telephone or fax number, contact name, special features of the building, etc.
In the case of custom profiles it will be assumed in the absence of any specifications that a difference of 17 mm
exists per stop side between the basic dimensions and the frame rebate dimensions (DIN), except in the case of
gym hall frames.
The frame and door leaf dimensions stated in this table apply only to normal and custom frames if no other details need to be considered!
