Invitation to tender text for Wulf standard frames for
rebated doors
(appropriately modified/supplemented, this can also be used for
custom frames)
Wulf steel frames to DIN 18111-1 (work on a new DIN is
ongoing) and DIN 18111-2 for rebated doors, consisting
of:
• 1.5 mm hot-dip galvanised thin sheet steel in tolerances as
per DIN EN 10142,
• Rebated on 3 sides, for door leaf fold of 25.5 mm,
• Plaster edge on rebate side of 9 mm, on side opposite rebate
9 mm, (in the case of stud partitioning: 15 mm / 15 mm),
• Counter-frame on rebate side of 30 mm, on side opposite
rebate 30 mm, (in the case of stud partitioning: 30 mm /
45 mm),
Corner frame: rebate side 30 mm, side opposite rebate - - mm,
• Floor recess: 30 mm, (for stud partitioning: no floor recess),
• Punched latch and bolt hole on both sides, pre-punched,
• Wall protection boxes on both sides,
• 2 series V 8600 hinge pockets for masonry / V 8618 for stud
partitioning on each side, frames can be used on right/left, for
series V 8000, V 8100, V 8700 plug-in replaceable hinges,
• 1000 mm from OFF metre mark,
• Handle height 1050 mm (= bottom edge of punched latch hole)
from OFF,
• Screwed-on spacer bracket (to be removed on site after
installation),
• 8 x loose quick-fit anchors in the case of masonry,
8 x solidly welded-on plasterboard anchors in the case of stud
partitions, corner frame: 6 x expansion anchors,
• Enamel dip-primed on all sides with 1K epoxy etch primer,
agate grey (c. RAL.7038)
• Elastic sealing strip running around 3 sides, supplied loose
