As pet owners ourselves we feel passionate about making ethical
and natural products that are healthier for your pet, but at the
same time less damaging on the environment. So, when we decided
to make a range of pet food, we knew we couldn’t compromise.
We have taken a new approach to dog food. Our natural, nutritious,
healthier food is made in a more eco-conscious way. We only use
fresh, sustainably sourced, high-quality ingredients and we reckon
our hypoallergenic food is both better for your pet and also better
for the environment.
Pet nutritionists help us create our balanced recipes using
ethically sourced meat and locally sourced vegetables and
herbs, all enriched with superfoods to give your dog the boost it
needs. We only use natural, honest ingredients, free from grains,
preservatives, additives & meat derivatives. All packaged up in our
unique 100% compostable stay fresh bags, so every bowl tastes as
good as the first.

WHY IS BECO FOOD
BETTER FOR YOUR DOG?
We feel your dog deserves the best, so we only use freshly-prepared,
high-quality meat and fish. Meat meal is a low-cost, processed,
powdered meat form often used by other pet foods. Fresh, MSC
fish, free range chicken and wild boar tastes better and most
importantly, is more digestible.
OUR CAREFULLY DESIGNED RECIPE IS
TAILORED TO MEET THE DOGS KEY NEEDS.
Some dogs can’t fully digest food containing grains like corn and
wheat. These can lead to itchy skin, a dry coat, digestive pains and
poor health. Also such carbohydrates have limited nutritional value.
A grain-free diet, packed with nutrient-rich herbs and superfoods,
can make your dog healthier and turn their coat shinier.

WHY IS BECO FOOD BETTER
FOR THE ENVIRONMENT?
Meat production and overfishing can have harmful impacts on the
environment. So we’ve taken a new approach to dog food concentrating
on food provenance and ethical farming. We use free-range chicken,
wild boar, and sustainably sourced MSC certified fish, so our chickens
and boar live happier lives, and we’re helping to conserve fish stocks.
With global food miles ever increasing, the pressure on our
environment is building. Our food is made in the UK and all our
ingredients are grown in the UK or Western Europe. By sourcing
ingredients locally, we lower our carbon footprint and support local
producers.
We’re really proud our packaging is green too. We only use fully
compostable packaging printed with water-based inks. Even the
stay fresh zip seal at the top of the bag is compostable.
Through the Beco Foundation, we give back 5% of all profits
to local community, animal and environmental causes.
