Greetings
Dear Confreres,
NEWSLETTER No. 22 April, 2014
With the blessings of Easter past, I bid you all welcome.
My message this month is to encourage you to keep your
faith as a true Knight of Christ. Sometimes it can be hard to
be a Knight, or a Dame, in a chapter that is small in
numbers. It takes time to build a strong chapter.
Life today is very busy and there are so many commitments,
work, family, the community, charity...etc.
Today I would like to present to you an amazing role model,
Dame Cornelia Wogerbauer, Grand Prior for the Chapter of
Austria.
Dame Cornelia is very keen on her duties as grand prior,.
She works very hard to improve her chapter. Within few
months after she formed the chapter, she organised the
collection of donations to present to the most needy families
and the sick in her region.
Recently Dame Cornelia collected donations for the Royal
Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
How great that is. Dame Cornelia is working very hard to
build a strong chapter in Austria I am very pleased with her
work. I hope that many of us will follow Dame Cornelia Wogerbauer's wonderful
example of charity and dedication.

Editorial
Ange Kenos Secretary for Public Relations
Who Was Jesus the Christ?
Was Christ a man of evil? Of course he was not, and yet so many claim to be
Christian and yet commit acts which Our Lord would not tolerate, not accept and thus
never condone. (Matthew 5:9, Mark 7:21)
Did Christ believe in assaulting women? Of course he did not, as we see in the
example regarding Mary Magdalene where he said "let he who is without sin cast the
first stone" against her (John 8:7). Yet far too many women are assaulted by husbands
and other male members of their families.
Did He believe in Charity? Absolutely, so why do so few follow His good heart and
help those less fortunate than themselves. (1 Timothy 6:9 & 10)
In John 1:14 we read "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us". To be true
followers of Our Lord we must not spew out words which we ignore, whose meaning
we push aside and whose value we trash. We must hold true to those words and do
that which Jesus would expect of us
