Der Vienna Fetish Spring hat sich zu einem fixen
Bestandteil des Fetisch-Jahreskalenders etabliert und
erfreut sich großer Beliebtheit zahlreicher Gäste aus
dem In- und Ausland. Das vielfältige Programm hat
heuer erneut wieder für alle etwas zu bieten. Eines der
Highlights ist die Wahl zum Mr. Fetish/Leather Austria
2016, dem Vertreter der Fetischszene Österreichs.
Ich blicke als Titelträger auf ein einzigartiges Jahr zurück, in dem ich
zahlreiche Projekte vorantreiben und wertvolle Erfahrungen machen konnte.
Daher möchte ich alle Interessierten ermutigen, für die Wahl zu

As current Mr. Leather Europe and Mr. Leather Austria I am very honored
to welcome you fondly in our capital city Vienna. Vienna Fetish Spring has
become a permanent fixture in the fetish event calendar and enjoys popularity
among visitors from here and abroad. The variety of events will again have
something right for you. One of the highlights is the election of Mr. Fetish/
Leather 2016, the representative of Austria’s fetish community. My passed year
as titleholder was unique, I had the possibility to promote many projects and
to make a lot of invaluable experiences. Therefore, I want to encourage all
interested guys to compete for the title in order to experience an exciting year.
I wish all visitors of Vienna Fetish Spring an eventful weekend with many new
impressions and of course a lot of fun here in Vienna.

Wien ist für Schwule immer eine Reise wert. Neben der pulsierenden Gay
Szene bietet Österreichs tolerante Hauptstadt zahlreiche Kultur- und
Shoppingangebote. Tatsächlich gehört die österreichische Hauptstadt zu
den tolerantesten und homosexuellenfreundlichsten Städten Europas.
Wo sonst werden zum Beispiel Wochen vor der Regenbogenparade die
Straßenbahnen mit Regenbogenfahnen geschmückt.
Vienna, the lovely capital of Austria, has a rich gay history and together with
today’s great events this converts Vienna into a unique travel destination.
Vienna is known to be one of the most liberal and tolerant capitals of Europe.
Just watch out for tramways which are decorated with gay pride flags –
in honour of the upcoming gay pride week.

Das Kunst- und Kulturangebot umfasst zahlreiche Theater, Museen
und Opernhäuser. Jung und hip präsentiert sich das Areal des Museums-
Quartiers, mit seinen zahlreichen In-Lokalen und Ausstellungen.
Vienna is well known for its numerous theatres and museums.
During the summer months the “museums quartier” with exhibitions
and its hip bars and bistros surrounded by Baroque buildings as well as
modern architecture attracts gay guys throughout the day.
Gleich neben dem MuseumsQuartier befindet sich die größte Einkaufsmeile
Wiens, die Mariahilfer Straße. Kleinere und originelle Shops findet man in
den Seitengassen, besonders rund um die Neubaugasse und in den
romantischen Gässchen am Spittelberg. Hier hat auch die kultige
Modeboutique Tiberius ihren Verkaufsraum. Wer es beim Shoppen luxuriös
liebt, dem seien die Kärntner Straße, der Graben, der Kohlmarkt und das
„Goldene Quartier“ in der Innenstadt empfohlen.

The Viennese Coffee House and gay area
Eine gelungene Shoppingtour ist aber erst perfekt, wenn man in einem der
vielen Wiener Kaffeehäuser eine Melange mit Sachertorte genossen hat.
Dynamisch und sichtbar in Wien hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren eine
junge, dynamische und abwechslungsreiche schwule Szene etabliert, die
sich im Vergleich zu schwulen Angeboten in anderen europäischen
Metropolen wie London oder Berlin nicht zu verstecken muss.
Selbstbewusst präsentieren sich die zahlreichen Lokale ihren Gästen.
Der Großteil der schwulen Lokale befindet sich entlang der Rechten und

A long shopping day has to end in the Kaffeehaus (traditional coffee house)
which is a typical Viennese institution. Basically a café for having a good cup
of coffee and a cake (e.g. the famous Viennese Sacher Cake) in a relaxed, cosy
atmosphere – a must for every visitor!
The Café Savoy on the Naschmarkt is a traditional Viennese coffee house
dating back to imperial times. An eye-catcher is the gigantic mirrors.

Abseits der Partys bietet Vienna Fetish Spring einen besonderen Höhepunkt
für die Besucher der Stadt, der aber für uns Wiener genau so viel Spaß
mit sich bringt. Mit einer eigens gemieteten Oldtimerstraßenbahn machen
wir eine ca. eineinhalbstündige Tour durch die Stadt, die uns nicht nur rund
um die historische Ringstraße mit ihren Prachtbauten, sondern auch ins
bekannte Heurigenviertel Grinzing am Rande der Stadt und in den Prater
führt. Besonders spannend und auch lustig ist der Kontakt der fahrenden
Fetischgemeinde mit den WienerInnen während der Pausen. Für einen
Reiseführer und das leibliche Wohl (Getränke & Snacks) ist gesorgt.
Vienna Fetish Spring offers a very special activity - besides of the parties -
that brings much fun for the visitors of the city as well as for us local guys:
A tour through the city in a chartered Oldtimer tram. The ride lasts about
one and a half hours and takes us around the Ringstraße with its historic
buildings like Hofburg, Vienna State Opera, Parliament, City Hall and
much more. We will then go to Grinzing where the city meets the suburb forest
area - a neighbourhood known for its Heurigen, and also will head to the
famous Prater. The tour is not only about sightseeing, but also a social event.
During the stops for a break often very interesting contacts between the fetish
crowd and the local people are occurring. Travel guide, drinks and snacks are
provided.

The lion’s share of gay bars and clubs is situated near the Naschmarkt, in the
district along Linke and Rechte Wienzeile. There you find also the HARD ON
(Hamburgerstrasse 4) where the main parties of Vienna Fetish Spring will take
place. The official partner hotel, the Holiday Inn Vienna City is only 5 minutes
away. Like every big city in the world, Vienna also has a bar named Eagle.
On Wednesday the Eagle Bar will host the leather party.
Kulinarische Gelüste
Culinary Delights
Um sich für eine heiße Partynacht zu stärken, bietet das Areal um den
Naschmarkt einige tolle Möglichkeiten.
Da gibt es zum Beispiel den „Goldenen Spiegel“ an der Linken Wienzeile 46.
Wer traditionelle Wiener Küche probieren möchte, ist im „Zum alten Fassl“
in der Ziegelofengasse 37 richtig.
Auch Wiener Küche aber mit kreativen, eigenen und sehr leckeren Einflüssen
bieten Zeljko und Dragan in ihrem „Sixta“ (Schönbrunner Straße 21).
Hier sollte man unbedingt reservieren.
Gute österreichische Küche bekommt man auch im Waldviertlerhof
in der Schönbrunner Straße 20. Gehobener wirds dann im Motto
in der Rüdigergasse 1.

Im Vorjahr führte die LMC Vienna ihren Klassiker „Wien in Schwarz“ bereits
zum 25. Mal durch und zwar gemeinsam mit der Generalversammlung des
europäischen Dachverbands ECMC und der Wahl des Mr. Leather Europe.
Die Erfahrungen mit diesem Großevent haben uns motiviert, mit Wien in
Schwarz völlig neu durchzustarten: Für 2016 haben wir daher viel Neues und
etwas Großes am Hauptabend geplant. Mehr dürfen wir noch nicht verraten,
aber man sollte sich schon mal den Termin 28. Oktober bis 1. November fett
im Kalender anstreichen und seine Reise buchen.
Neben der Hauptveranstaltung am Samstag gibt es natürlich ein großes
Angebot an Partys und ein Rahmenprogramm.

October 28 – November 1 st , 2016
Last year LMC Vienna organized its classic “Vienna in Black” event for the
25th time – together with the annual general meeting of the umbrella organization
ECMC and the Contest for Mr. Leather Europe. The vibes of this triple
event inspired us to totally reboot “Vienna in Black”: There will be many
innovations and something big on the main evening. We are not allowed to
tell you more at the moment, but you should really save the date from Oct.
28 th to Nov. 1 st , 2016 and book your trip. Of course, there will not only be the
main event on Saturday night, but also a couple of parties accompanied by
matching side events.
