Corset seins-nus / Naked breasts corset, Nuit Infinie 3 4 I discovered Maison Close through Martial Lenoir, the photographer whom I share my photo studio with, who is a long-standing collaborator of the brand. I randomly fell upon some pieces that he borrowed for a fashion shoot, and they’ve immediately inspired me. The elegance of the line, and of the fabric, with this spark of provocation present in all of the brand’s creations. I decided to put them in picture, with a little help from models that have agreed to play along. The photo studio that we had just moved into has also encouraged my desire to produce beautiful images: We had decorated the place in a way that, I was sure, would provide the sensual atmosphere needed for these pictures. It is therefore a happy coincidence and a new workspace that have brought me to collaborate with Maison Close: and what better inspiration in photography, than chance ? As the shootings unfolded, I learned to know the brand better, and to sharpen my photographic eye on its products: I try, today, and through my pictures, to place the spectator at a safe distance from these women in alluring attire… The distance from which they become this « obscure object of desire ». 2 J ’ai découvert la lingerie Maison Close par l’intermédiaire de Martial Lenoir, le photographe avec qui je partage mon studio Photo. Il collabore avec la marque depuis longtemps. Les pièces qu’il avait empruntées lors d’un « shooting » et que j’ai découvertes par hasard m’ont tout de suite inspiré : élégance des lignes et des matières avec ce brin de provocation si présent dans toutes les créations de la marque. J’ai donc eu envie de les mettre en image avec le concours de modèles et mannequins qui ont bien voulu se prêter au jeu. Le studio photo que nous venions de prendre a aussi participé à mon désir de produire de jolies images : nous avons décoré ce lieu dans un sens qui, j’en étais sûr, conviendrait parfaitement à créer des ambiances « suave » propices aux photos que je désirais produire. C’est donc la conjonction d’un hasard et d’un nouvel espace qui m’ont amené à collaborer avec Maison Close : et qui a-t-il de plus inspirant que le hasard en photographie ! Au gré des shootings j’ai appris à mieux connaitre la marque et à préciser mon regard photographique sur ses produits : j’essaie, aujourd’hui, et à travers mes photos à placer le spectateur à juste distance de ces femmes portant ces parures sexy… la distance où elles deviennent «cet obscur objet du désir ». Ich habe die Dessous von Maison Close durch Martial Lenoir kennengelernt, den Fotografen, mit dem ich mein Studio teile. Er arbeitet seit Langem mit der Marke zusammen. Die Dessous, die er während eines Shootings ausgeliehen hatte und die ich zufällig entdeckte, inspirierten mich sofort aufgrund der Eleganz der Kollektionen und Stoffe mit diesem Hauch von Provokation, der allen Kreationen der Marke innewohnt. So bekam ich Lust, sie mithilfe von Models und Mannequins, die sich gern dazu bereit erklärten, in Szene zu setzen. Das Studio, das wir gerade erst angemietet hatten, spielte ebenfalls eine wichtige Rolle: Wir dekorierten es auf eine Art und Weise, die – dessen war ich mir sicher – perfekt dafür geeignet war, das sanft-liebliche Ambiente zu schaffen, das ich mir für meine Fotos wünschte. Es war also die Kombination eines Zufalls und eines neuen Arbeitsumfelds, die zu meiner Zusammenarbeit mit Maison Close geführt hat: Und was gibt es Inspirierenderes in der Fotografie als den Zufall? Im Laufe der Shootings lernte ich die Marke immer besser kennen und konnte meinen fotografischen Blick auf die Produkte verschärfen: Ich versuche heute bei meinen Fotos, auf die richtige Distanz zwischen dem Betrachter und den Frauen in diesen sexy Dessous zu achten – die Distanz, auf der sie zu einem „geheimnisvollen Objekt des Verlangens“ werden.
