Florian Werner, hotelier at the tradition-steeped Arlberg
Hospiz Hotel in the third generation, is responsible
for the newly established place of artistic encounter.
ARLBERG1800 CONTEMPORARY ART AND CONCERT HALL
The arlberg1800 contemporary art and concert hall contains a concert
venue for 150 guests, exhibitions space of a total of 800 m 2 (6 rooms of 70
to 160 m 2 ) as well as 78 underground car park spaces. Changing exhibitions,
artists in residence programmes, themed weeks, workshops, and more than 150
concerts per year are part of the programme. The art space is connected with
Arlberg Hospiz Hotel *****, Hospiz Alm Restaurant, 8 Alm Residence Suites,
4 Skyfall Suites, 16 arlberg1800 suites, Adi’s Weinwelt and the art gallery
St. Christoph – all of which forms the arlberg1800 RESORT.

Architectural work of art
Set up on an area of 1,500 m² with up to 3 subterranean floors, the
architecturally significant project which was designed by architect
Jürgen Kitzmüller truly impresses visitors. Above ground the modern
and low-key construction offers multifunctional rooms for congresses
and meetings. At the centre of the structure is the White Space, a 600m²
exhibition hall that is 8m high; an exhibition curated by section.a
(Vienna) will take place here every year. Additionally, a 250m² concert
hall with excellent acoustic characteristics for up to 150 persons is
planned, as is an art lounge, a project room for smaller exhibitions as
well as two studios for two artists in residence.
