Influenced by tourism in her hometown Zell <strong>am</strong> See Iris Schoeller’s professional career in<br />
tourism took her to Rome, Innsbruck and then to Marketing Austria in Australia. She’s been<br />
practising yoga for 9 years and as a certified yoga teacher she teaches classic hatha yoga in a<br />
studio in Vienna. For the past two years she has been combining her experiences in tourism<br />
marketing and yoga in her agency “Auszeit Yoga & Marketing”.<br />

MOUNTAIN YOGA FESTIVA<br />

The motto of Mountain Yoga Festival is yoga and nature. The surrounding mountains and the<br />
village will become the yoga studio. Yoga teachers from New York, Germany, Switzerland and<br />
Austria will lead yoga classes, talks and workshops. Healthy yoga, pleasure and the connection<br />
with nature will be at the focus during the entire festival! A yoga bazaar and soul motion<br />

<strong>Arlberg</strong> you organise the Mountain Yoga Festival <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Anton</strong>.<br />
How did that happen? And how does the sport from India fit<br />
in in the Alps?<br />
I.S. As a passionate skier I’ve known <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Anton</strong> for years and in<br />
the past I got the chance to market the <strong>Arlberg</strong> region as a tourism<br />
destination at the other end of the world. In <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Anton</strong> yoga is lived<br />
and practised by the locals all year round and that’s how the idea<br />
of organising a yoga festival in those natural power places around<br />
<strong>St</strong>. <strong>Anton</strong> c<strong>am</strong>e up.<br />
L.L. What sort of “gear” should attendees of the festival<br />
definitely bring?<br />
