Sensoren und Leiterbahnen zusammen
mit allen Designelementen per Siebdruck
direkt auf die Glasplatte auf – auf diese
Weise wird das Glas quasi selbst zur Leiterplatte.
Die kostenintensive und umweltbelastende
Herstellung von Platinen entfällt,
der Energieaufwand bei der Produktion
wird auf ein Minimum reduziert. Die fertigen
Bedienelemente sind UV- und temperaturbeständig,
leicht zu reinigen, kratzfester
als Plexiglas, allergisch unbedenklich
und laden sich nicht statisch auf.

Irlbache r Blickpunkt Glas GmbH specializes
in glass controls that can be used in
variou s ways and at the same time are produced
in an eco-friendly manner. Using the
patented production process IMPAtouch, the
specialists apply sensors and printed circuit
boards together with all the design elements
directly onto the glass panel using screen
printing. In this way the glass itself virtually
becomes the PCB. The cost-intensive and
environmentally harmful production of circuit
boards is no longer necessary and energy
consumption during production is reduced
to a minimum. The finished controls are
resistan t to UV light and heat, easy to clean,
more scratch-proof than Plexiglas, hypoallergenic
and do not carry static charge.

Burkhardt Leitner constructiv
ein flexibles und vielseitiges Architektursystem
für temporäre Bauten im öffentlichen
Raum entwickelt – etwa für den Messebau
oder Ausstellungsbereich. Als Vorbild für
den Verbindungsstab diente ein moderner,
filigraner Skistock mit geringem Transportgewicht
und Ladevolumen und dennoch
hoher Stabilität. constructiv PON erfüllt
diese Voraussetzungen und eröffnet Designern
und Architekten aufgrund seiner
Flexibilität außerdem zahlreiche neue Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten.
Denn das Basissystem
lässt sich zwar flach zusammenlegen
und durchaus auch rechtwinkelig zusammenbauen,
doch die biegbaren Präzisionsrohre
können außerdem dank ihrer extremen
Rückstellkraft bei gleichzeitig hoher
Elas tizität unter Spannung in der Längsachse
radial verformt werden. Sobald losgelassen,
springen sie in ihre ursprüngliche
Form zurück. Durch dieses Materialverhalten
lassen sich etliche skulpturale,
amorphe Freiformen schaffen, wie sie im
Display bereich zuvor kaum möglich waren.

ski pole with a low transport weight and
volume and yet high stability served as the
template for the connecting rod. constructiv
PON satisfies these preconditions and also
opens up numerous new design possibilities
to designers and architects owing to its flexibility.
For although the basic system can be
folded flat and assembled at right angles, the
flexible precision tubing can also be radially
warped on the long axis under tension while
maintaining high elasticity, thanks to their
extreme restoring force. They jump back to
their original form as soon as they are released.
A material that behaves in this way
can be used to create any number of sculptural,
amorphous, free forms that have hardly
been possible thus far in the displa y segment.

MACS, der vielseitige, leicht zu verarbeitende
Acrylstein-Werkstoff von LG, hat
mit Lucent eine neue Farbpalette erhalten.
Die edlen, transluzenten Töne Opal, Saphir,
Rubin und Smaragd erlauben ein buntes,
kreatives Spiel mit Licht und Schatten. Aufgrund
der fortschrittlichen Technologie
von HI-MACS müssen die lichtdurchscheinenden
Töne nicht vorsichtiger behandelt
werden als Standardfarben, sie werden
auf dieselbe Weise produziert, thermogeformt
und montiert. Erhalten bleiben
auch die weiteren herausragenden Eigenschaften
des Materials, wie die hohe
Lebensdau er und Strapazierfähigkeit,
die Fleckenbeständigkeit und die porenfreie,
hygienische Oberflächenstruktur.
New translucent color palette. HI-MACS,
the versatile, easy-to-process acrylic stone
material by LG, has been given a new range
of colors in the form of Lucent. The refined,
translucent tones opal, sapphire, ruby and
emerald enable colorful, creative interplay
with light and shadow. Thanks to HI-MACS’
cutting-edge technology, the translucent
shades do not need to be handled more carefully
than standard colors; they are produced,
thermoformed and assembled in the same
way. The other outstanding properties of the
material are also maintained, namely, the
long product lifecycle and durability, resistance
to stains and the nonporous, hygienic
surface structure.
