FUNKTIONSPRINZIP FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE 

Rauch- und Wärmeabzug: 

Es muss immer und schnell funktionieren 

“Ohne” Rauch- und Wärmeabzug 

Ohne Rauch- und Wärmeabzug sammelt sich toxischer Brandrauch 

im Gebäude. Dies birgt ein extrem hohes Gefahrenpotenzial. 

“Mit” Rauch- und Wärmeabzug (RWA) 

Beim Rauch- und Wärmeabzug wird der thermische Auftrieb 

genutzt – durch Zuluftöffnungen im unteren Wandbereich und 

Abluftöffnungen im oberen Wand- oder Deckenbereich wird der 

Rauch in einer stabilen Rauchschichtgrenze oberhalb des Aufent- 

haltsbereiches des Menschen gebunden. Dadurch werden Evakuierungswege 

frei gehalten.

Without smoke and heat ventilation, toxic smoke collects in the 

building. This poses an extremely high potential risk.

Chain drives represent the latest and most elegant solution for 

operating windows electrically in façade and roof areas. Due to 

their design, they can be flush against the window profile (surface 

mounting) or be integrated into the window profile (integrated 

mounting). When the window is shut the chain discreetly disappears 

into the drive profile, so that no obtrusive bars protrude into 

the room.
