1. acetyl cyclohexane sulphonyl peroxide: –10° C<br />

2. succinic acid peroxide: +10° C<br />

3. tert-butyl peroxyisopropylcarbonate (BPIC): room temperature<br />

4. tert.-butyl peroxypivalate: –10° C<br />

5. dibenzoyl peroxide: room temperature<br />

6. dicyclohexyl peroxydicarbonate: +5° C<br />

7. diisopropyl peroxydicarbonate: –15° C.<br />

§ 2. Peroxides which for reasons of safety must be kept at the establishment at a temperature<br />

lower than room temperature, must be stored:<br />

1. either in refrigerators or freezers located in the production building, in which case each refrigerator<br />

or freezer may contain a quantity of at most 30 kg non-refrigerated organic peroxides<br />

2. or in refrigerators or freezers located in a detached storage building in which only the said<br />

peroxides are stored. In this case each refrigerator or freezer may contain a quantity of at<br />

most 150 kg non-refrigerated organic peroxides<br />

3. or in a detached cold store that is solely intended for this purpose. In this case, unless specified<br />

otherwise in the environmental licence, per cold store a quantity of at most 500 kg nonrefrigerated<br />

organic peroxides may be stored.<br />

Art. 5.17.1.20<br />

As regards the construction certificates, inspections and tests prescribed in this chapter, the operator<br />

must dispose of certificates in which the codes of good practice applied, the controls carried<br />

out and the relevant observations are clearly indicated. He must at all times keep the certificates<br />

concerned at the disposal of the supervisory official.<br />

Art. 5.17.1.21<br />

Without prejudice to the provisions of this chapter, the transport, the installation and connection<br />

of containers must be performed according to the prevailing Belgian or European standards.<br />

Section 5.17.2 Storage of hazardous liquids in <strong>und</strong>ergro<strong>und</strong> containers<br />

Art. 5.17.2.1<br />

§ 1. The necessary measures must be taken to give maximum protection to the containers<br />

against mechanical damage and corrosion.<br />

§ 2. It is forbidden to place containers intended for the storage of P1 and/or P2 products directly<br />

<strong>und</strong>er a building or <strong>und</strong>er a vertical projection of a building. A lean-to is not considered as a<br />

building.<br />

§ 3. The distance between the container and the bo<strong>und</strong>aries of the parcels of third parties must<br />

be at least 3 metres. The distance between the container and the basement space of the company's<br />

own buildings must be at least 2 m. The distance between the container and the wall of<br />

the establishment's own buildings must amount to at least 0.75 m. The distance between the<br />

containers themselves must amount to at least 0.5 m.<br />

The distance between containers for P3 and/or P4 products which do not form part of a distribution<br />

installation and the bo<strong>und</strong>aries of the parcels of third parties must amount to at least 1 m.<br />
