Out of dark clouds came our friendship<br />
Hands across the seas entwined<br />
Fifty years since whence it started<br />
Great the feast at which we dine<br />
From the mighty castle of Caerffili<br />

We celebrate our majestic emblems<br />
In awe of our past masters work<br />
From the mighty pen of Schiller<br />
