EN9.2 Selecting Measuring MethodsApplication of the method selectionYou can define and store measuring methods in your <strong>DMA</strong> <strong>35</strong>, providing a greatcontribution to a more efficient organization of your measuring process, especially, ifyou want to measure many different substances according to different measuringunits.A stored measuring method may contain the following kinds of information:• Measuring unit• Offset value• Temperature coefficient• Number of the RFID tag 3You can define and name up to 20 different measuring methods. To see how many ofthe 20 storage places are still available, go to the menu "Device Information" (seeChapter 11.3).If you own several <strong>DMA</strong> <strong>35</strong> instruments, you can import the same method list to allinstruments.9.2.1 Entering a New Method1. Select the preferred measuring parameter (see Chapter 9.1) and, if necessary,the custom offset (see Chapter 12.4).2. Press and select "Methods > Enter new Method".3. Enter the first character of the measuring method's name using the arrow keysand press .4. Repeat this procedure for the other characters.TIPIf you choose the tick symbol without first choosing the characters, themethod will be saved as . In this case, while being in the mainscreen only an empty bar indicates that a method has been selected.5. Navigate to the tick symbol using the arrow keys and press .TIPIf you keep an arrow key pressed, the cursor automatically stops at the ticksymbol.3 Only for <strong>DMA</strong> <strong>35</strong> versions with RFID interface34 C96IB01
