Überprüfung KettenendstückDas Kettenendstück muss unbedingt am losenKettenende montiert sein (Fig. 11).Abnutzungen bzw. Fehlstellungen dürfen nichtvorhanden sein.Überprüfung KettenverlaufUnterflascheVor jeder Inbetriebnahme bei zwei- undmehrstrangigen Geräten ist darauf zu achten,dass die Lastkette nicht verdreht oderverschlungen ist. Bei zweistrangigen Gerätenkann es zu einer Verdrehung z.B. dannkommen, wenn die Unterflasche umgeschlagenwurde (Fig. 9).Bei Kettenersatz ist auf richtigen Kettenverlaufzu achten (Fig. 10). Außerdem muss dieKettenschweißnaht nach außen zeigen.Es dürfen nur Lastketten eingebaut werden,die vom Hersteller zugelassen sind. BeiNichteinhaltung dieser Vorgabe erlischt diegesetzliche Gewährleistung bzw. Garantie mitsofortiger Wirkung.Überprüfung der Bremse (Fig. 15)Bei Auffälligkeiten (z.B. blau angelaufenerKühlkörper, gelöste Friktionsscheiben) ist sofortmit dem Hersteller Rücksprache zu halten.Alle Bauteile der Bremse sind auf Verschleiß,Beschädigungen, Verfärbungen durch Überhitzungund Funktion hin zu überprüfen.Friktionsscheiben unbedingt von Öl undFett sowie Wasser und Schmutz frei halten.Die Verklebung der Friktionsscheiben ist zuüberprüfen.Zum einstellen der Bremse ist die Wartungsanleitungmit der Ident.-Nr. 09900490/09.2006zu verwenden.WerksüberwachungAlle 3 Jahre sollte das entsprechende Gerätdurch die Yale Industrial Products GmbHbegutachtet werden. Bei dieser Inspektion wirddas Gerät komplett demontiert und ale Bauteileeiner genauen Begutachtung unterzogen.Bei Nichteinhaltung dieser Überprüfung durchdie Yale Industrial Products GmbH erlischt dieATEX-Konformitätserklärung.Für die Einhaltung der Überprüfungsfristenist der Betreiber verantwortlich.EnglishINTRODUCTIONAll users must read these operating instructionscarefully prior to the initial operation.These instructions are intended to acquaintthe user with the product and enable him touse it to the full extent of its intended capabilities.The operating instructions containsimportant information on how to handle theproducts in a safe, correct and economic way.Acting in accordance with these instructionshelps to avoid dangers, reduce repair costand down time and to increase the reliabilityand lifetime of the product. Theuser is committed to ensure safe and troublefreeoperation of the product.TEMPERATURE LIMITS IN EXPLOSIVEATMOSPHERES AND DUSTSIn order to determine the maximum surfacetemperature, several tests have been performedwith nominal load under extreme conditions.The maximum surface temperaturehas been determined at a room temperatureof 20°C to 22°C without dust deposit andwithout safety factors!This refers to a loading of 10 cycles with nominalload without disruption. The temperaturerange refers to -10°C up to +40°C. In caseof deviating loadings or temperature rangesconsult the manufacturer or supplier.Units for operation in areas with potentiallyexplosive gases/air resp. steam/air atmospheres or inflammable mistIn explosive areas, caused by flammable gasesor liquids, the ignition temperature (lowesttemperature at a hot surface) must not beexceeded. In exceptional cases the surfacetemperature must not exceed 80% of theignition point of the gas in 0°C.5GBUnits for operation in dust /airatmospheresIn areas, which are explosive by inflammabledusts, the surface temperature must notexceed 2 / 3of the minimum ignition point in°C of the dust/air mixture.Temperatures of surfaces, which can be subjectto dust deposit, must be one safety marginlower than the minimum ignition temperatureof the layer which can possibly be generatedby the respective dust.This requires a safety margin of 75K betweenthe minimum ignition point of a dust depositand the surface temperature of the unit. If thedust deposit exceeds a thickness of 5mm,larger safety margins are required.Classification of the hoistsAfter intensive testing under extreme conditionsthe hoist series Yalelift can be classifiedfor correct operation in the general industryas follows in Tab. 2.The documents have been checked by anominated body (0035) and deposited atTÜV Rheinland Industrie Service GmbH,Am Grauen Stein, 51101 Köln.IDENTIFICATIONIn order to exactly identify the product, youwill find the identity plate (Fig. 12) with allpertinent data on the gear cover.
