After factory settings are loaded, “First TimeInstallation” menu will be displayed.The menu which is displayed for language selectionappears on the screen at rst. By using “ ” or “” buttons, select the desired language option,and press OK button to activate. After then, “Firsttime installation” OSD will appear on the screen.By pressing “ ” or “ ” buttons, select the Countryyou want to set and press OK button (* only for EUcountries). Next, active antenna mode selection OSDwill appear on the screen. Use “ ” or “ ” to set andpress OK to continue. See the section, “Initial Settings”for more information. After active antenna mode optionis selected, a message asking for automatic searchappears on the screen:Search Step as 8000 KHz or 1000 KHz. If you select1000 KHz, the Tv will perform search process in adetailed way. Searching duration will thus increaseaccordingly. When nished, press OK button to startautomatic search. Automatic searching screen will bedisplayed during the process.Note: If you select an extended gap between Startand Stop frequency rate, automatic search durationwill take a longer time.If you select AERIAL option from the Search Typescreen, the digital television will search for digitalterrestrial TV broadcasts:Highlight “Yes” item by pressing “ ” or “ ” buttonsand press OK button to start installation. • To selectthe “Yes” or “No” option, highlight the item by using “” or “ ” buttons and press OK button.After then, the following OSD will be displayed onthe screen:If you select CABLE option, the following screen willbe displayed:The IDTV will automatically tune to the UHF or VHF(** for EU countries) transmission channels, searchingfor digital terrestrial TV broadcasts and displaying thenames of channels found. This process will take abouta few minutes. To cancel searching, you can press the“MENU” button at any time during the process.Note: If the digital TV fails to store any channels, “Nochannels available.” message will be displayed onthe screen.Either you select AERIAL or CABLE option from thesearch type menu, after the digital automatic searchis completed, the following message asking foranalogue channel search appears on the screen:Operation of analogue channel installation is explainedpreviously in “Initial Installation” section.Media Browser (in DTV mode)Whenever you plug a USB ash disk to your TV, thefollowing message will be displayed on the screen:You can select frequency ranges from this screen. Forhighlighting lines you see, use “ ” or “ ” button. Youcan enter the frequency range manually by using thenumeric buttons on the remote control. Set Start andStop Frequency as desired by using numeric buttonson the remote control. After this operation, you can setSelect YES or NO by pressing “ ” or “ ” button and“OK” button to continiue.You can also select Media Browser item from themain menu by using “ ” or “ ” buttons. Press OK toview Media Browser contents. You can play audioand photo and video (optional) les from a USB ash disk.Note: Some USB compliant devices may not besupported.Note: Movie Sense and Pixellence features cannotbe set while in Media Browser mode.English - 68 -
