Cable InstallationSelect Cable Installation line in the Installation menuand use OK button to view the menu contents:Network SearchWhen you select Network Search line and press OKbutton, the following menu screen will be displayedon the screen:Automatic Channel ScanAutomatic channel scan is started by pressingOK button while Automatic channel scan item ishighlighted. The following message appears on thescreen:Highlight Yes or No by using “ ” or “ ” buttonsand press OK button to con rm. If Yes is selected,automatic search starts. Selecting No cancelsautomatic search.You can select frequency ranges from this screen. Forhighlighting the lines you see, use “ ” or “ ” button.You can enter the frequency range manually by usingthe numeric buttons on the remote control. Set Startand Stop Frequency as desired by using numericbuttons on the remote control. After this operation,you can set Search Step as 8000 KHz or 1000 KHz.If you select 1000 KHz, the Tv will perform searchprocess in a detailed way. Searching duration willthus increase accordingly. When nished, press OKbutton to start automatic search.When nished, press OK button to start automaticsearch. Automatic searching screen will be displayedduring the process.Note: If you select an extended gap between Startand Stop frequency rate, automatic search durationwill take a longer time.After search is completed for digital channels, amessage asking whether to search for analoguechannels appears on the screen: Operation ofanalogue channel installation is explained in“Automatic Channel Scan” section above.Frequency SearchEnter the desired frequency, Modulation and symbolrate numbers. Modulation can be set as Auto, 16QAM,32QAM, 64QAM, 128QAM and 256QAM.When nished, press OK button, and the TV will startfrequency search.Enter Start and Stop frequency ranges that youwant to search within. After this operation, youcan set Search Step as 8000 KHz or 1000 KHz.If you select 1000 KHz, the Tv will perform searchprocess in a detailed way.Searching duration willthus increase accordingly. When nished press OKbutton to continue. The process will then start. Duringthe Network Search, if channels that have networksearch info are found, the TV will automatically showthe frequencies of those channels and network searchprocess will end by locating those channels.After search is completed, a message asking whetherto search for analogue channels appears on thescreen: Operation of analogue channel installationis explained in “Automatic Channel Scan” sectionabove.Clear Service List (*)(*) This setting is visible only when the Country optionis set to Denmark, Sweden, Norway or Finland.Use this setting to clear channels stored. Press “” or “ ” button to select Clear Service List and thenpress OK. The following OSD will be displayed onthe screen:Press OK to cancel. Select Yes by pressing “ ” or “ ”button and press OK to delete all of the channels.First Time InstallationThe user can use this item to load default settings,which were loaded to the receiver at the factory.To install factory settings, highlight “First TimeInstallation” menu item and press OK button, thenyou will be asked whether or not to delete the settings.Selecting “Yes” by pressing OK button will delete theexisting channel table.English - 67 -
