Either you select AERIAL or CABLE option from thesearch type menu, after the digital automatic search iscompleted, the following message asking for analoguechannel search appears on the screen:If you select CABLE option, the following screen willbe displayed:You can select frequency ranges from this screen. Forhighlighting lines you see, use “ ” or “ ” button. Youcan enter the frequency range manually by using thenumeric buttons on the remote control. Set Start andStop Frequency as desired by using numeric buttonson the remote control. After this operation, you can setSearch Step as 8000 KHz or 1000 KHz. If you select1000 KHz, the Tv will perform search process in adetailed way. Searching duration will thus increaseaccordingly. When nished, press OK button to startautomatic search. Automatic searching screen will bedisplayed during the process.Note: If you select an extended gap between Startand Stop frequency rate, automatic search durationwill take a longer time.If you select AERIAL option from the Search Typescreen, the digital television will search for digitalterrestrial TV broadcasts:The IDTV will automatically tune to the UHF or VHF(** for EU countries) transmission channels, searchingfor digital terrestrial TV broadcasts and displaying thenames of channels found. This process will take abouta few minutes. To cancel searching, you can press the“MENU” button at any time during the process.Note: If the digital TV fails to store any channels, “Nochannels available.” message will be displayed onthe screen.To search for analogue channels, select “Yes”. TVswitches to the analogue TV mode. A menu will bedisplayed to search for analogue channels.Set Language item by pressing “ ” or “ ” button.Press “ ” or “ ” button to highlight Country item andthen use “ ” or “ ” to set. Press “ ” or “ ” button tohighlight TXT. Language. Set TXT Language by using“ ” or “ ” button. To cancel, press the BLUE button.When nished, press OK or RED button to continueand the following OSD will be displayed:After automatic tuning is nalized, a programme listwill appear on the screen. In the programme list youwill see the programme numbers and names assignedto the programmes.If you do not accept the locations and/or the namesof the programmes, you can change them in Programtable. For details, see the section, “Program table”.General OperationPress the “SOURCE” button and select DTV/USBfrom the list. The TV then switches to digital TV mode.Information Banner• Whenever you change the channel using the P +or P - button or numeric buttons, the TV displaysthe broadcast picture along with an informationbanner at the bottom of the screen. Broadcast typeinformation is also displayed. This will remain on thescreen for approximately a few seconds.• The information banner can also be displayedby pressing the “INFO” button at any time whilewatching the TV. Pressing “INFO” button againremoves the banner.If the selected channel is locked, you must enterthe correct four digit key to view the channel.
