The construction of Komfort 2 socks is based on the different attributes of cotton and polypropylene. The architecture
of the sock is built from a weave with a plush loop where a cool cotton zone regularly alternates with a warm polypropylene
zone in precisely defi ned strips. Cotton absorbs moisture and cools. Polypropylene does not absorb moisture, is neutral and
maintains warmth. The skin on the foot is not able to identify the thermal differences of the different materials and when the
strips are the correct width the foot perceives the surface of the sock as a thermally balanced, dry whole even in a soaked
shoe. The utilized plush loop increases the permeation of the utilized materials to gives an overall comfortable sensation. The
sock ends in a high hem that gently constricts. These socks are designed for regular wear with little physical exertion. The
system of the creation of warm and cool zones using various materials is protected by a patent.

Die unterschiedlichen Eigenschaften von Baumwolle und Polypropylen sind die Grundlage für
die Konstruktion der Socke Comfort 2. Der Sockenaufbau besteht aus Plüschgewebe, indem sich
regelmäßig Streifen aus Baumwolle und Polypropylen abwechseln. Die Baumwolle nimmt Feuchte
auf und kühlt, Polypropylen nimmt keine Feuchte auf und wärmt. Die Haut erkennt nicht die Wär-
meunterschiede einzelner Streifen und bei richtigem Gebrauch wirkt die Socke trocken auch im
feuchten Schuh. Die Socke ist mit einem hohen Bündchen abgeschlossen. Diese Socken eignen sich
für den Normalgebrauch ohne höhere physische Belastung. Das System von „kühlen und warmen
Zonen“ ist per Patent geschützt.
