TESCO - Componentes para Automóveis, Lda. ist ein Gießereiunternehmen der Metts/Honda-Gruppe,
eines Konzerns mit Sitz in Japan und Produktionsstätten in Portugal, Japan, Philippinen, USA,
Thailand, Brasilien und China.
TESCO – Componentes para Automóveis, Lda. wurde 1993 zur Lieferung von Motorteilen für
Honda Manufacturing U.K. gegründet.
Seit Aufnahme der Produktion im selben Jahr ist das Unternehmen erheblich gewachsen.
Aufgrund neuer Geschäftsentwicklungen wurde die Produktionspalette um Teile für
Klimaanlagen und Vakuumpumpen für Bremssysteme für die Automobilindustrie erweitert.
Die Produktion von TESCO geht zu 100% an First und Second Tiers der Automobilindustrie und
wird zu 100% exportiert.
Seit Ende 2008 hat TESCO ein 34.000 m² großes Betriebsgelände in Ribeirão – V.N. Famalicão in
Nordportugal.
Das Unternehmen ist zertifiziert nach ISO/TS 16949 und ISO 14001.

TESCO - Componentes para Automóveis, Lda. is a Metts/Honda Foundry Group company, a
multinational, Japan based company with facilities in Portugal, Japan, Philippines, USA, Thailand,
Brazil and China.
TESCO - Componentes para Automóveis, Lda. was established in 1993 to supply engine parts to
Honda Manufacturing U.K.
The company has grown substantially since start of production in the same year.
Production diversification was achieved due to new business development on air conditioned
components and also vacuum pumps from braking system, to be applied in the automotive industry.
TESCO’s production is 100% to Automotive Industry, as Tier1 and Tier2, and 100% to export.
TESCO occupies since end of 2008 a 34.000 m2 site at Ribeirão – V.N. Famalicão, in the north of
Portugal.
The company is certified by the Standards ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001.
TESCO aims to achieve long term consolidation on the market, and considers that Quality and respect
