Das Gewindesystem dieser Verschraubungen wird von BRITISH STANDARD PIPE 

(WHITWORTH ROHRGEWINDE B.S.P.) verwendet. Die Verbindung mit den Leitungsrohren 

erfolgt mit Stahl-, Autogen- oder mit Bogenschweißverfahren. Nach dem Verschweißen der Stücke hat eine 

stufenweise Kühlung zu erfolgen. 

Die in der Regel verwendeten Rohre bestehen aus kaltgezogenem Stahl ohne Schweißstellen 

für Wasserleitungen. 

In der folgenden Tabelle sind die Querschnitte der Leitungen für jeden Gewindedurchmesser aufgeführt. 

The union thread system used is the British Standard Pipe system (WHITWORTH PIPE THREAD 

B.S.P.) The connection to the pipes is made by steel, autogeneous or arc welding. Stage by stage 

cooling is necessary after welding these fittings. 

The pipes used as a general rule are made of cold drawn steel without welding points or water 

supply lines.
