Sigmar Schnur´s Citycolors sind ein fortlaufendes Projekt für alle, die Megcities dieser Welt<br />
aus einem anderen Blickwinkel erleben möchten. Licht, Farben und Reflektionen sind die<br />
Charaktereigenschaften dieser langjährigen Expeditionen. Mit der tiefen Geduld und<br />
dem Engagement des Fotografen, entstanden dabei bereits Zehntausende Fotos in<br />
New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, London, Paris, Budapest, Berlin, Hongkong, Singapur und<br />
Macao. Weitere Städte folgen. Die Megacities unserer Zeit sind voller Leben und Energie.<br />
Tag für Tag und unermüdlich. Die Strassen und Menschen wie Adern und Blut in einem<br />
lebenden Organismus. Citycolors möchte diese Energie in Farben ausdrücken.<br />
Eingetaucht in einen Schein und Hauch der Unwirklichkeit.<br />
Sigmar Schnur’s Citycolors is an ongoing project for everybody who would like to encounter<br />
the world’s megacities from a different angle of perspective. Light, colors and reflections are<br />
the hallmark of this long-term project. Thanks to the enduring patience and dedication of the<br />
photographer, tens of thousands of photographs have been taken in New York, Shanghai,<br />
Tokyo, London, Paris, Budapest, Berlin, Hong Kong, Singapore and Macao. More cities are<br />
to follow. The megacities of our time are full of life and energy. Restless, day after day.<br />
Streets and people are like the veins and blood in a living organism. Citycolors aims to<br />
express these energies in colors, bathed in a wispy aura of unreality.
