Long Night of Museums
Welcome to Berlin’s
25 th Long Night of Museums!
The Long Night of Museums has long been a
highlight in the Berlin calendar, attracting a loyal
following of locals, as well as visitors from all corners
of the globe. Museums and galleries across
the city open their doors late into the night, offering
guests an evening of exhibitions, guided
tours and special events.
All venues participating in the 25 th Long Night
will be offering their own responses to a central
theme: how Berlin’s museum landscape has
changed since Germany’s reunification. Following
World War II many collections were fragmented
and divided between East and West Germany.
20 years on, a lot has changed!
TICKETS
Your Kombiticket includes entry into all participating
venues and unlimited use of the shuttle
bus service and of public transport (BVG and
05:00 Sun 30 th ).
SHUTTLE BUSES
Although many museums are within walking
distance of the Lustgarten (central meeting
point), many more are spread out across the city;
the shuttle buses are there to help you navigate
your way between museums and see as much as
possible. On every bus, a steward will be on hand
SPRECHEN SIE DEUTSCH?
People are often unsure whether the Long Night
of Museums is suitable for non German-speakers.
The answer is yes, it is! Due to the wide variety
of venues and programmes on offer, German is
not a pre-requisite to attending the Long Night.
Many venues offer information in English, and
many exhibitions will speak for themselves visually.
See our tips below for some ideas.
