Im Kontext aller <strong>Young</strong> <strong>Euro</strong> <strong>Classic</strong>-Projekte spielt die zeitgenössische Musik eine bedeutende Rolle.<br />
<strong>Young</strong> <strong>Euro</strong> <strong>Classic</strong> bietet zeitgenössischer Musik eine Plattform und vergibt darüber hinaus eine Vielzahl<br />
von Kompositionsaufträgen an junge Komponisten. Insgesamt wurden seit dem Jahr <strong>2000</strong> 60 Deutsche<br />
Erstaufführungen und 105 Uraufführungen zur Aufführung gebracht – davon waren 61 Auftragswerke<br />
für <strong>Young</strong> <strong>Euro</strong> <strong>Classic</strong>. Contemporary music plays a prominent part within the overall context of all<br />
<strong>Young</strong> <strong>Euro</strong> <strong>Classic</strong> projects. The Festival provides a platform for contemporary music and, beyond that,<br />
commissions a large number of new works from young composers. Since <strong>2000</strong>, a total of 60 German<br />
first performances and 105 world premieres were brought to the stage, among them 61 compositions<br />
commissioned by <strong>Young</strong> <strong>Euro</strong> <strong>Classic</strong>.<br />
