Sales and Earnings Performance
Earnings Performance
The turnover with optical fibers/laser probes increased by 11.3% amounting to EUR 23.07 million (previous
year: EUR 20.7 million). The turnover with lasers decreased by 23.6% amounting to EUR 6.1 million
(previous year: EUR 8.1 million).
The pharma sector is still neglectable. Although a certain progress can be registered on the European
central markets, the overall turnover amounted to EUR 1.2 million (previous year: EUR 1.8 million), thus
decreasing by 33.1%. Nevertheless, we expect that newly acquired pharmaceutical marketing partners
will have a strong effect in the future.

Performance by Regions
The European and North American markets are responsible for the majority of the company’s revenues.
In the covered financial year, Europe contributed 47.6% to the overall turnover. With a turnover amounting
to EUR 11.7 million the North American market increased by 5.8% despite the difficult economic
situation.
In Asia and the rest of the world the turnover increased by 5.5%, thus representing our increased engagement
in these regions and amounting to a overall turnover of EUR 4.2 million (previous year: EUR
4.0 million). Furthermore, we expect that the subsidiaries founded in the last financial year will contribute
more clearly to the overall revenue in the future.
The European turnover decreased to EUR 14.3 million (previous year: EUR 15.5 million) whereas the
turnover increased in all other regions.
