Capital Management
The group manages its capital in order to increase the income of the associated companies by optimizing
the relation between shareholders’ equity and liabilities. It is ensured that all subsidiaries can operate
under the premise of a continued business operation within the group. The group’s capital structure
comprises liabilities, cash equivalents and the shareholders’ equity belonging to the capital providing
investors of the parent company. Shareholders’ equity is consisting of issued shares, as well as of profit
and capital provisions. Its development is presented in a separate attachment to this annex.
The principal objectives of the financial management are to ensure a continued business operation for
all subsidiaries and an adequate interest return on the shareholders’ equity.
The capital is monitored on the basis of the economic shareholders’ equity. The economic shareholders’
equity consists of the balanced shareholders’ equity and the minorities. Liabilities are defined as longterm
and short-term financial obligations, provisions and other financial obligations.

Shareholders’ equity encloses the whole equity, the reserves of the group and the minority interests.
Within the capital reserve bond premiums without transaction costs are presented.
Debt capital is defined as long-term and current financial liability, reserves and remaining liabilities.
