Die Parkzone P-47 Thunderbolt ist in<br />
ihrer Ausführung dem Original sehr<br />
detailliert nachgebaut worden, so<br />
dass sie auch die Scale-Liebhaber<br />
unter den Warbird-Fans begeistern<br />
wird. Zu den Details zählen die<br />
Motorattrappe, die Kaliber .50 MG<br />
Rohre und das detaillierte Cockpit.<br />
Angeformte Außenlinien und Öff-<br />
nungen komplettieren das Originaldesign<br />
der Maschine, so wie sie in<br />
den vierziger Jahren mit dem Namen<br />
„Snortin Bull“ vom englischen Pilot<br />
Captain James A Mullins eingesetzt<br />
wurde. Die Kühlung des Motor/<br />
P-47 Thunderbolt<br />
Reglers erfolgt hier über den Scale<br />
Turbolader und die Intercooler Klappen.<br />
Aus der Box heraus ist die P-47 mit<br />
einem festen Fahrgestell und angelenktem<br />
Spornrad versehen. Dieses<br />
kann gegen ein optionales Einziehfahrwerk<br />
gewechselt werden, das<br />
zusammen mit den funktionsfähigen<br />
Klappen ein <strong>Flug</strong>vergnügen der<br />
Superlative ermöglicht, das man<br />
sonst nur von größeren <strong>Flug</strong>zeugen<br />
her kennt.<br />
Constructed from Parkzone’s unique<br />
and highly durable Z-foam this striking<br />
model features more than<br />
enough scale detail to satisfy the<br />
most ardent warbird fan. Features<br />
such as a dummy radial engine, .50<br />
calibre machine gun barrels, detailed<br />
cockpit area, moulded panel lines<br />
and hatches complete with a scale<br />
WWII colour scheme and „Snortin‘<br />
Bull” decals. The fuselage is unique<br />
in the fact that any build-up of hot air<br />
from the motor/speed controller can<br />
escape through the scale turbochar-<br />
ger and intercooler doors.<br />
Out of the box the P-47 comes with<br />
a fixed landing gear and a steerable<br />
tail wheel, however the wings come<br />
ready to accept E-flites .15 size electric<br />
retracts and these coupled with<br />
the option of fully functioning flaps<br />
give the pilot a superb warbird expe-<br />
rience that’s more normally asso-<br />
ciated with larger models. In the air<br />
the model looks and flies with a real<br />
presence whilst performing all of the<br />
typical warbird manouvers with ease<br />
and thanks to the overall lightness of<br />
the model landing approaches and<br />
landings are relatively stress free<br />
making the Thunderbolt the perfect<br />
choice for your next electric warbird<br />
model!
