The first Ferraris-meters were
mechanical masterpieces and
their production demanded
the precision of watchmakers.
Later, the construction of meters

by the requirements of leastcost

As time went by, meters became
ever more complex. Tariff registers,
ripple control, interfaces,
displays or parameterisation,
the handling of exceptions or
schedules and data formats – the
adjustable functionality demanded
from modern electricity meters is
enormous.
EMETRION
the standard
Modern energy markets have
standardised electronic data exchange
and processing of commercial
data. The wide variations
between metering
equipment became
irksome because
the meters had to
be standardised
prior to a successful
data process exchange
with third
parties.
In many cases, the
measurement of
energy consumption
and the registration
of values in
standard mode on
site is sufficient to
meet most standard
requirements.
The processing of
these values into a
central IT system
is the main goal
today. The new
meter generation
EMETRION was created to fulfil
this requirement: a simple innovation.

lean and very efficient in terms of
quality monitoring.
Integrated
technology
