ClubDA Membership Fees 2011 Andreas Ehrmann<br />
Pay, play or leave”, wrote Martin M. R. Tilley,<br />
ClubDA’s treasurer, in DA News 2/2011<br />
and asked ClubDA’s members to pay their<br />
annual membership fee of EUR 30 to help the<br />
Club fund initiatives like the ClubDA Scholarship<br />
mentioned in two portraits in this issue.<br />
Consequently, payment reminders were sent and<br />
several membership fees paid.<br />
Since 2009, when Gerhard Reiweger and Oliver<br />
Kitz introduced the chapter strategy and the DA<br />
Alumni Office was established, the Club’s revenues<br />
are on the rise (see below), more than 50<br />
events have been organized by 14 local chapters<br />
from New York to Beijing and all across Europe,<br />
the ClubDA Scholarship has been introduced, and<br />
the DA News as well as our website have been<br />
relaunched.<br />
Today, on behalf of DA and ClubDA, I want to<br />
express our gratitude to all ClubDA members<br />
who contribute actively to the Club’s recent<br />
successful years by paying their membership fees,<br />
making additional donations, and taking part in<br />
our many events.<br />
Unfortunately, at the end of 2011 ClubDA’s<br />
board had to expel 76 members since they have<br />
not been paying their membership fees and/or<br />
providing ClubDA with their contact details for<br />
several years.<br />
