I
am currently an
Associate at the
Zagreb office of
Wolf Theiss, a leading
law firm in Central
and Southeastern
Europe with offices
in 12 countries. After
graduating from the
University of Zagreb (LL.B.), I obtained an LL.M.
in European law at the University of Würzburg,
Germany and studied at the Diplomatic Academy
of Vienna (43. DLG). I have been with Wolf Theiss
since finishing my studies at the DA in 2007.
I specialize in finance, M&A and corporate, real
estate, regulatory & public procurement matters
and EU law, and have become a recognized expert
in the area of real estate and real estate finance.
At Wolf Theiss I have had the opportunity
of working on large-scale and complex crossborder
engagements mostly for foreign investors
in various legal areas across various industries.
Further experience includes a recent secondment
with Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank International at its
headquarters in Austria.
The inaugural meeting of our ClubDA Zagreb
Chapter took place on Sunday, 18 December
2011. Four Alumni, including the oldest DA
Alumna, Ms Neda Prpić Gamiršek (1937 graduate),
Mr Georg Diwald (Austrian Deputy Ambassador
to Croatia), Ms Ida Ogulinac (University of
Zagreb), me, and two friends of DA, Ms Elizabeta
Mađarević (Croatian Foreign Ministry and newly
appointed Deputy Prime Minister‘s Assistant),
and Mr Darko Till (Croatian Ministry for Tourism)
were present.
Several Alumni, including the new Austrian
Ambassador to Croatia, Ms Andrea Ikic-Böhm,
could not participate at this gathering, but look
forward to our future meetings. We are especially
