Werner Habryka is the Managing Director of Logata GmbH - a strong alliance
of IT companies within LB GmbH. In connection with the Fraunhofer
Institute, Logata has created a virtual marketplace, the Logistics Mall. What
advantages does the Mall have and who should and could use this marketplace
- an interview with Werner Habryka.
LB Plus: Mr. Habryka, the Logistics Mall
reached its third and final phase at the
end of 2013. Could you briefly summarise:
What is the Logistics Mall?
Werner Habryka: As already described, the
Logistics Mall is a virtual marketplace, on
which all software products are offered. In
phase 1, the products were offered in the
Mall and could be rented by users. When
phase 2 became active, the individual IT
solutions could communicate with each
other. Since then, standardised interfaces
enable the immediate release of a storage
location when the batch is released. We
therefore don't talk about single solutions
any more, but integrated solutions.
