Transport einer Werkzeug-
Fräsmaschine von Österreich nach
Houston/Texas über ITG Bremen
Die ITG in Schwaig organisierte den kompletten Transport
der Maschinen innerhalb von eineinhalb Wochen. Insgesamt
mussten 16 Colli von Bayern nach Frankfurt gebracht
und von dort nach Nagoya, ins Zentrum der japanischen
Autoindustrie, geflogen werden. Exportleiter Damir Rugani
und Jun Imamura, der Repräsentant von K-Line Global Logistics
in Deutschland, arbeiteten bei dem Projekt eng zusammen.
Imamura hat sein Büro in der ITG Niederlassung
Frankfurt, kurze Wege waren also garantiert.
Unter den 16 Packstücken hatte es besonders eines in sich,
ein Teil von 4 Meter Länge, 3,5 Metern Breite, einer Höhe
von 2,7 Metern – und dazu 6,7 Tonnen schwer! Aufgrund der
Überbreite waren die Sendungen nur mit einem Spezial-
Lkw, Sondergenehmigung für den Straßentransport sowie
Begleitfahrzeug nach Frankfurt zu bewegen. Für die Verladung
wurde jeweils ein Kran eingesetzt. In Frankfurt wurden
die Packstücke direkt vom Lkw auf Flugzeugpaletten
umgeladen. Das größte und schwerste Teil musste „Center
Load“, also in der Mitte des Laderaums, geflogen werden,
um die Stabilität des Flugzeugs nicht zu gefährden.
Damir Rugani und Jun Imamura überwachten die gesamte
Aktion auch vor Ort und dokumentierte alle Stationen
auf Wunsch des Kunden mit Fotos. Das gesamte Projekt
inklusive Exportverzollung funktionierte zur vollsten Zufriedenheit
aller Beteiligten, sodass die ITG Luftfrachtexperten
kurze Zeit später zum Zuge kamen, als wieder eine eilige
Sendung nach Tokio anstand.

without limits
Fulfilling customers’ individual needs is daily business
for the ITG crew. This goes for special demands in handling
goods at the warehouse but also for exceptional
transports. Some examples in this area prove the claim:
“The customer has a problem, ITG has the solution”.
Pretty long
In May ITG Munich organized the transportation of a
component being part of a complex switching station.
Blowing the measures of a usual trailer truck the piece
was 17.5 meters long, 2.05 meters wide and 2.92 meters
high and had to be shipped from South Germany up to
Sachsen-Anhalt in the East. ITG used a tele-trailer that
can be expanded. For the loading and unloading of the
part weighing 9.5 tons a crane was used.
Pretty heavy
ITG Bremen managed the transport of a milling machine
for tools from Austria to Houston/Texas in April. The
heaviest package weighed 41 tons. With care and caution,
this customer demand was completed successfully.

Together with Japanese partner K-Line Global Logistics,
ITG proved to be fast and capable. 16 pieces had to be
shipped from Bavaria to Frankfurt and via airfreight further
to Nagoya, the center of the Japanese automobile
industry. Export manager Damir Rugani and Jun Imamura,
representative of K-Line Global Logistics in Germany,
worked very closely in this project. Imamura resides
in the ITG office in Frankfurt, so close co-operation
was guaranteed. One part of the machine with 4 meters
length, 3.5 meters width and 2.7 meters height weighed
6.7 tons! The shipment to Frankfurt required special vehicles,
permissions and convoy transportation. At the
airport the exceptional package had to be loaded in the
center of the aircraft’s belly by a crane. The entire project
