port. Aus den Produktionsstandorten der verschiedenen Hersteller
in der Umgebung von Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara und Bursa
konsolidiert der türkische Partner die Sendungen im eigenen
Terminal. „Diese Bündelung sorgt für eine hohe Auslastung auf
der Route nach Deutschland. In Spitzenzeiten kommen rund
30 Transporte pro Woche nach Europa und davon der überwiegende
Teil nach Deutschland zustande“, betont Celik.
Die Güter werden entweder in die ITG Standorte oder direkt
in die Zentral- und Regionallager der Kunden in Deutschland
oder in anderen europäischen Ländern gebracht. Bei der Anlieferung
berücksichtigen die Logistiker auf Kundenwunsch
individuelle Zeitfenster oder Belieferungsrhythmen.
Die Laufzeit der Sendungen auf der Nord-Süd-Verbindung
beträgt in der Regel vier bis fünf Tage – oder drei Tage als
Expresssendung. Gemeinsam übernehmen die Partner so
beispielsweise die komplette Beschaffungslogistik für viele
Kunden aus dem Textil- und Sportartikelsektor. Doch auch in
anderen Branchen sind ITG und Sertrans gefragt, etwa beim
Export und Import von Maschinen oder Elektronik von der
und in die Türkei.
Gemeinsames Verständnis
Leistungsfähige Kooperation, wirtschaftliches Wachstum; alles
in allem gibt es also viel Potenzial am Bosporus. Das sieht auch
Hakan Keleş so: „Wir setzen uns strategische Ziele. Die Kooperation
mit der ITG werden wir in puncto Qualität und individuellen
Kundenlösungen weiterentwickeln. Unser Ziel ist es,
bis 2015 Marktführer bei den türkisch-deutschen Verkehren zu
werden“.
Und auch im Verständnis ihrer Rolle innerhalb der Gesellschaft,
gibt es Übereinstimmungen. Wie die ITG so fühlt sich auch
Partner Sertrans verpflichtet, mit sozialem Engagement einen
Beitrag zur Linderung sozialer Missstände zu leisten. Sertrans
hat zum Beispiel seit 2003 über 300 Mädchen in Grund- und
weiterführenden Schulen bis zum Abschluss oder weiter im
Studium gefördert. „Dieses ehrliche und tatkräftige Engagement
für soziale Projekte unseres türkischen Partners ist sehr
beeindruckend. Auch darin passen wir gut zusammen“, bestätigt
Gabriele Dallinger.
Potential at the Bosporus
for more than 20 years ITG has offered comprehensive services
along the entire supply chain to customers with freight from
and to Turkey. In the country the company collaborates with
its partner Sertrans. Especially in the field of textile logistics the
competence of both service providers offering dedicated solutions
creates an efficient network.
Germany is the most important trade partner of Turkey with a
bilateral trade volume of 26 billion Euros in 2010 – a new record.
In the textile industry in particular Turkey is regarded as one of
the global hot spots with constantly increasing significance.
The Turkish economy grows strongly, which made the English
economic magazine call the country “the China of Europe”.
For one year ITG and Sertrans, a family-run business with 500
staff and headquarters in Istanbul, have been cooperating.
Founded in 1989, Sertrans today offers a broad range of services,
from forwarding in all modes of transport, to customs
clearance with an own bonded warehouse in Istanbul to contract
logistics and value added services. Among them are the
transport and storage of hanging garments and quality checks
of fabrics.
Sertrans is one of the leading providers of combined shipment
in Turkey. The company runs a fleet of 220 trucks with Euro-4
or Euro-5 standard and GPS navigation. Hence the status of
the transported good is transparent at any time. The company
benefits of six branch offices in Turkey as well as in Bulgaria
and Romania. Sertrans CEO Hakan Keleş states: “Thanks to the
partnership with ITG we can offer the same service level to our
Turkish customers in Germany as at our own locations.
A modular supply chain management tool is in place for data
processing between the partners with all necessary interfaces.
Even a module for measuring the carbon footprint, a CO2 calculator,
was already developed. From the diverse facilities of
the suppliers the shipments the Turkish partner combines the
consignments in its own terminal, which leads to a high capacity
utilization of the 30 truck loads per week to Europe in the
peak season. Run times on the North/South trade lane are usually
four to five days or three days as express shipments.
High-performing cooperation, a growing economy - there is a
lot of potential at the Bosporus, says Hakan Keleş: “We are setting
strategic targets. We will further enhance the cooperation
with ITG in the field of quality and individual customer solutions.
Our goal is to be the market leader in the Turkish-German
trade lane by 2015”.
