Another challenge are the huge fluctuations
on short notice ITG has to
cope with. This applies to storage as
well as to a number of value-added
services, such as individual labeling,
the attachment of security tags, specific
packaging and commissioning.
The shipments are distributed from
Schwaig to all European major regions,
and orders that are made via
the online store are shipped to the
end customers.
Due to the strongly increasing volumes,
ITG has invested in the future
right from the beginning of the partnership
in December 2003. In 2006
the company has extended the
racking system, the picking devices
and the IT infrastructure in order to
cope with the increasing volumes in
time and efficiently.
