In 1993 <strong>ITG</strong> Global Logistics BV was<br />
founded in the Netherlands being the<br />
first branch office out-side of<br />
Germany. Since then the know-how,<br />
the number of employees, and the<br />
infrastructure have developed to an<br />
extent enabling the country organization<br />
to meet all customer demands<br />
as a full service provider in the <strong>ITG</strong><br />
target sectors.<br />
The Amsterdam office was opened<br />
at Schiphol Airport. Business focus<br />
was airfreight, due to the fact that<br />
the office was located at the center<br />
of one of Europe’s largest airports.<br />

The opening of the Rotterdam office,<br />
located in the heart of the Rotterdam<br />
port, followed in 1996. Due to the<br />
presence of the two offices customers<br />
and agents could entrust their<br />
shipments to <strong>ITG</strong> who would handle<br />
these with utmost efficiency, the<br />
Amsterdam office managing airfreight,<br />
the Rotterdam office taking<br />
care of sea freight deliveries.<br />
In 1998 an own warehouse for logistics,<br />
nowadays having a capacity of<br />
12,500 square meters, was opened<br />
to meet the growing demand in<br />
logistics and warehousing. In<br />

October 2006 a new facility with<br />
4,000 square meters of storage<br />
capacity was added. In Amsterdam<br />
<strong>ITG</strong> moved to new premises,<br />
including a 5,000 square meters<br />
warehouse in 2003.<br />
Currently the organization has grown<br />
to a staff of 70 professionals, offering<br />
a full service scope in forwarding<br />
and supply chain management.<br />
All services are provided using a highly<br />
advanced IT and Warehouse<br />
Management System that can be<br />
adjusted to individual demands of the<br />
customers.<br />
