als Leiter der neuen ITG Landesgesellschaft
Russland fühle:
Nach 22 Jahren kehre ich zurück in meine
Geburtsstadt und darf einen Standort
mit großer Zukunft aufbauen.
Russland ist heute für viele ITG Kunden
ein attraktiver Absatzmarkt. Moskau, die
11-Millionen-Stadt, ist größer und auch
schöner geworden, mit einem Warenangebot wie in anderen
europäischen Metropolen, hoher Kaufkraft der Reichen
und einer wachsenden Mittelschicht, allerdings auch großer
Armut am unteren Ende der Skala.
Mit der neuen Landesgesellschaft verfolgen wir vor allem
drei Ziele:
1. Das internationale ITG Netzwerk um ein eigenes leistungsfähiges
Hub für Osteuropa zu erweitern
2. Das komplette ITG Leistungsspektrum mit dem eigenen
hohen Qualitätsstandard und Serviceversprechen auf
dem russischen Markt vorzubereiten und zu verwirklichen
3. Unseren Kunden zu helfen, ihre Geschäfte in diesem wichtigen
Markt durch zuverlässige, leistungsfähige und vereinfachte
Abläufe in der Logistik erfolgreich zu führen.
Meine Kollegin Larissa Panewina, die mich vor allem mit ihrer
Kenntnis der russischen Gesetzgebung und der komplexen
Bestimmungen unterstützt, und ich bilden die Basis eines
wachsenden ITG Teams, das die Kunden hier betreuen wird.

Back to the future
T
his well-known film title pretty much describes how I feel as manager of the new ITG
branch office Russia: after 22 years I return to the city where I was born and I am privileged
to build- the premises with a bright future. Russia today is an attractive sales market.
Moscow, the 11-million metropolis, has grown bigger and more beautiful, with a range of
goods like in other European cities, high-spending capacity of the rich and a growing intermediate
layer, but also with huge poverty at the bottom of the scale.
With the new branch office we are pursuing three targets in the first place:
1. Expand the international ITG network with an own comprehensive hub for Eastern Europe
2. Prepare and implement the complete ITG service range with our own high quality level and
service promise on the Russian market
3. Support our customers in doing their business successfully in this important market with
reliable, comprehensive and simplified processes in logistics.
My colleague Larissa Panewina, who will be supporting me predominantly with her knowledge
in the Russian law and the complex regulations, and myself form the basis of a growing
ITG team aiming to serve the customers here. With the support of the colleagues of the Head
Office in Schwaig a powerful branch office is evolving, serving you in all activities on the Eastern
European markets with the ITG spirit and specific know-how as usual!

NEW COMPANY IN MOSCOW

Nach intensiver Vorbereitungphase
war es am Freitag, den 2. März, so weit:
Um 17 Uhr öffnete die neue Landesgesellschaft
erstmals ihre Türen. Niederlassungsleiter
Vladislav Bozhkov begrüßte zusammen
mit ITG Geschäftsführer Andreas Weiss und
weiteren ITG Kollegen, die an der Gründung des
neuen Standorts beteiligt waren, rund 25 geladene
Gäste.
Das Büro befindet sich, verkehrsgünstig westlich
des Zentrums gelegen, in einem historischen
Gebäude auf dem Gelände eines Golfplatzes.
Nach dem symbolischen Durchschneiden eines
Bandes folgten die Begrüßungsreden von ITG
Vertretern und Gästen. Anschließend zelebrierte
die Gesellschaft in russischer Tradition mit
vielen Toasts und guten Wünschen für die
zukünftige Entwicklung den neuen Standort.

After an intensive preparation phase,
Friday, March 2, was the day:
At five o’clock the new company opened its doors
for the first time. Branch Manager Vladislav Bozhkov
together with ITG General Manager Andreas
Weiss and other ITG colleagues who had been involved
into the founding of the new premises welcomed
more than 25 invited guests.
The office is conveniently located for traffic westerly
from the city center in a historic building on the terrain
of a golf course. After the symbolic ribbon cutting
some speeches of ITG representatives and guests were
held. Afterwards the society - in Russian tradition -
celebrated the new premises with many toasts and
good wishes for the future development

Bis zur Gründung der eigenen Landesgesellschaft in
Moskau war die ITG in erster Linie mit zuverlässigen Lkw-
Transportlösungen in Russland und im osteuropäischen
Raum aktiv. Im Einklang mit dem wirtschaftlichen Erfolg der
Kunden hat die ITG das Engagement auf diesen Relationen
in den letzten Jahren sehr verstärkt.
Know-how und Erfahrung
So verzeichnet das ITG Landtransportnetzwerk seit 2006
regelmäßige Abfahrten in die Russische Föderation, die
Ukraine, nach Weißrussland (Belarus), in das zentralasiatische
Kasachstan und in die baltischen Staaten Estland, Lettland
und Litauen. Der Service reicht dabei von Teil- und Komplett-
ladungen bis hin zu Terminsendungen und kompletter
Haus/Haus-Abwicklung.
Dies gilt auch für den Transport per Luft- oder Seefracht und
die komplette Zollabfertigung. Für die Organisation von
Supply Chains aus Asien oder Nord- und Südamerika nach
Osteuropa kombinieren die ITG Experten die Verkehrsträger
so, dass ein optimales Zeit- und Kostenverhältnis gewährleistet
wird. Die Routenführung wird dabei individuell analysiert
und auch nach Kapazitäts-, Sicherheits- und Witterungs-
aspekten festgelegt. Auch im multimodalen Verkehr Straße
– Schiene verfügt die ITG über wertvolle Erfahrungen, die
hohen Kundennutzen bieten können.
Um im Osteuropageschäft flexibel und großräumig agieren
zu können, benötigt ein Dienstleister vor allem spezielles
Know-how, leistungsfähige Partner und gute Kontakte zu
Behörden und Institutionen. All dies hat sich die ITG über
die Jahre aufgebaut. In allen Niederlassungen sind zudem
sowohl im Transport- wie im Logistikbereich muttersprachliche
Mitarbeiter etwa aus Russland oder der Ukraine beschäftigt.
Damit können auftretende Fragen schnell und direkt
mit allen Beteiligten abgeklärt werden.

ITG Service etabliert
Mit der Landesgesellschaft werden nun die Transportlös-
ungen um die ITG Logistikdienstleistungen für den russischen
Markt ergänzt. Operativ arbeitet die Niederlassung
nach den gleichen Qualitäts- und Leistungsstandards wie
alle anderen im ITG Netzwerk. Auch die IT-Systeme für Buchhaltung,
Transport-Management und Lagerverwaltung werden
übernommen. Auch die prinzipiell unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten
an Mehrwertdienstleistungen stehen den Kunden
am neuen Standort zur Verfügung – von Qualitätskontrollen
im Wareneingang über Konfektionier- und Verpackungsservices
bis hin zum Etikettieren. Darüber hinaus bietet ITG
Moskau auch die Distribution innerhalb des Landes sowie in
die angrenzenden Länder im Direktverkehr, als Sammelgut
oder Paket an.
Vor Ort stellt Vladislav Bozhkov den bekannten ITG Service
sicher. Er ist ein langjähriger Mitarbeiter mit großem Knowhow
über den Markt, die Anforderungen und den ITG Spirit
für die Umsetzung der Kundenwünsche. Schritt für Schritt
und ausgerichtet am Bedarf und der Nachfrage der Kunden

Up until the founding of the own company in Moscow, ITG was mainly
engaged in Russia and the Eastern European region with reliable trucking services
solutions. In harmony with the economic success of the customers ITG has
strongly expanded the engagement on these relations during the recent years.
Know-how and expertise
Since 2006 the ITG surface network contains regular departures to the Russian
Federation, the Ukraine, Belarus, Central Asian Kazakhstan and the Baltic States
Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The offers reach from partial loads and full
loads up to time-defined shipments and comprehensive door to door handling
services.
This goes also for air freight and ocean freight shipments and the entire customs
clearance. For the management of supply chains from Asia or North and
South America to Eastern Europe the ITG experts combine the different transport
modes in a way that ensures the optimal time-cost relation. For this they
individually analyze the routing and determine the transportation ways, also
with regard to capacity, security and weather aspects. In multimodal traffics
road – rail ITG benefits from valuable experience that can mean significant customer
value.
In order to be able to act in a flexible and comprehensive way a service provider
above all needs special know-how, capable partners and good contacts to
authorities and institutions. All this is what ITG has been building up over the
years. In all branch offices in the forwarding as well as in the logistics sector
ITG benefits from mother tongue employees from Russia or the Ukraine, for instance.
Hereby occurring questions can be cleared fast and in a direct way with
all people involved.
Services established in the renown ITG attitude
With the new company the forwarding solutions are now completed by the logistics
services for the Russian market. The branch office‘s operations are executed
along the same quality and performance standards like in all others within the
ITG network. The same IT systems for accounting, transport management and
warehouse management are implemented as well. Customers also benefit from
the basically unlimited value added services – from quality checks for incoming
goods to commissioning and packaging to labeling. In addition, ITG Moscow offers
distribution within the country as well as the surrounding countries as direct
shipments, groupage or parcel services.
On location, Vladislav Bozhkov ensures the common ITG service. He is a longterm
staff member with huge know-how of the market, the challenges and the
ITG spirit concerning the fulfillment of the customers’ desires. This is how another
major component in the service range of ITG will become reality, step by step, and
guided by the needs and the demand of the customers.

Gabriele Dallinger ist Beauftragte für Zoll- und Außenwirtschaft und Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung
der ITG. Sie hat ein besonderes Faible für Russland und war von Beginn an maßgeblich
am Aufbau der Osteuropa-Verkehre sowie bei der Gründung der neuen Landesgesellschaft in
Moskau beteiligt. Im Interview gibt sie Auskunft über ihre Erfahrungen.
Frau Dallinger, warum engagiert sich die ITG in Russland?
Wir sind seit 2006 bereits für unsere Kunden in Russland
tätig. Das sind hauptsächlich westeuropäische Unternehmen
aus den Branchen Textil, Maschinenbau, Sportartikel,
Konsumgüter sowie Roh- und Betriebsstoffe.
Wir kümmern uns um die Transporte und die Zollformalitäten
und organisieren die Distribution innerhalb Russlands
sowie in angrenzende Länder. Dieses Geschäft ist stark gewachsen.
Und wir haben erkannt, dass Präsenz vor Ort eine
wesentliche Voraussetzung für die Weiterentwicklung und
Optimierung unserer Leistungen ist. Deshalb haben wir uns
entschlossen, Moskau als eigene Landesgesellschaft im ITG
Netzwerk zu etablieren.
Welche Erfahrungen haben Sie bisher gemacht?
Persönlich bin ich seit jeher ein großer Fan des Landes und
der Menschen. Die Herausforderungen, mit denen wir es hier
zu tun haben, etwa die bürokratischen Strukturen, nehmen
wir im ITG Stil sportlich. Aus der bisherigen Arbeit haben wir
bereits viel Know-how gesammelt und uns ein Netzwerk
sehr guter Transportpartner und Zollfrachtführer aufgebaut,
sodass wir für unsere Kunden sehr schnell und zuverlässig
agieren können.
Mit der Gründung der OOO ITG International Transports +
Logistics gehen wir einen bedeutenden Schritt weiter. Business
Development ist damit für uns nicht nur ein Begriff. Ich
bin überzeugt, dass wir die neue Niederlassung erfolgreich
etablieren und unseren Kunden damit viele Vorteile für ihre
Supply Chains von und nach Russland bieten werden.
Wo liegen die Vorteile für die Kunden konkret?
Wir agieren vor Ort, was bei den Kontakten zum Zoll und
anderen Dienststellen deutlich schnellere Abläufe ermöglicht.
Unsere Kunden gewinnen zudem dadurch, dass die
Zeitverschiebung wegfällt. Wir bieten den Vorteil der Fakturierung
in Landeswährung, was den Zahlungsverkehr für
unsere Kunden erheblich vereinfacht. Außerdem stellen
wir mit der neuen Landesgesellschaft sicher, dass die Kunden
auch in Russland Zugriff auf das gesamte Leistungsspektrum
der ITG haben und zwar auf dem gewohnt hohen
Qualitätslevel. Und schließlich bedeutet die eigene Niederlassung
eine Stärkung des internationalen ITG Netzwerks.
Schon jetzt fungieren wir als Hub für Frachten unserer Partner
von und nach Nord- und Südamerika, Asien und Westeuropa.
Wie leistungsfähig wir da sind, haben wir kürzlich
durch die Abwicklung einer bedeutenden Luftfrachtsendung
von Vietnam nach München unter Beweis gestellt.
Der Transport zum endgültigen Zielort Moskau erfolgte per
LKW von München mit der bemerkenswert kurzen Gesamtlaufzeit
von 10 Tagen.

Gabriele Dallinger is Representative for Customs and Foreign
Trade and Member of the Board at ITG. She has a peculiar
passion for Russia and was instrumental in building-up the
Eastern European traffics and in founding the new company in
Moscow. In the interview she talks about her experiences.
Mrs. Dallinger, why is ITG engaging in Russia?
We have been active for our customers in Russia from as early as 2006. Most
of them are companies from Western Europe dealing with textiles, machinery,
sporting goods, consumer goods and raw and operating supply items. We take
care of the transportation and customs formalities and organize the distribution
within Russia and in the surrounding countries. This business has been growing
strongly. And we have recognized that local presence is a prerequisite for further
developing and optimizing our services. That’s why we decided to establish an
own company office in Moscow as part of the ITG network.
What are your experiences so far?
Personally I’m a big fan of the country and the people. The challenges we have
to deal with here, for instance the bureaucratic structures we are taking with the
ITG attitude – sportsmanlike. In our previous engagement we have already been
gathering a lot of know-how and have been shaping a network of excellent trucking
partners and customs authorized hauliers. Thereby we can act fast and reliably
for the customers. By founding OOO ITG International Transports + Logistics
we are making a major step forward. Business Development isn’t just an idea to
us. I’m convinced that we will successfully establish the new location and that our
customers’ supply chains from and to Russia will benefit from it in many ways.
How will the customers benefit concretely?
We act locally, which enables much faster contacts to customs and other authorities.
Our customers win time since there is no more time shift. We offer factoring
in the local currency, which significantly eases the payments. Additionally, with
the new company we ensure that customers in Russia will have access to the full
range of ITG services and with the renowned quality level. And last not least the
own office means a further strengthening of the international ITG network. Even
now we act as a hub for freight from our partners from and to North and South
America, Asia and Western Europe. How capable we are to that respect we proved
recently by handling a major air freight shipment from Vietnam to Munich.
The transportation to the final destination Moscow was organized by truck and
the entire runtime was as short as 10 days.
