Textile reinforcement:
The textile reinforcement consists of alkali-resistant glass
fi bers arranged at a right angle to each other and connected
to each other by a thread at the abutting ends.
GRP reinforcement:
In addition to the textile reinforcement, glassfi ber bars,
Ø 16 mm, from the German company Schöck were installed,
whose use is regulated in AbZ Z-1.6.-238.
Prestress:
The prestress on the precast elements used for the superstructure
is executed in longitudinal direction by way of
pretensioning with mono-strands from Suspa/DSI. The
components, following erection, are coupled on their butt
ends to enable the transmission of normal forces in the
longitudinal direction of the bridge.
Manufacture of the precast elements
Formwork construction:
Due to the special cross-section of the bridge and the geometry
with an inclination in longitudinal and transverse
direction as well as the radius in plan, a special form had
to be constructed for the project. The form, made of wood,
is coated with a special-purpose lacquer that is slightly
ground prior to casting in order to ensure the desired architectural
concrete fi nish (Fig. 1).
