This leads us to the legendary Duke and Duchess of Windsor and their almost 40 years of mutual passion for Cartier and the fine art of jewellery. We also turn our attention to an accessory imbued with symbols: the glove. In recent times the glove has assumed the role of an indispensable accompaniment for the fashion conscious, yet in the Middle Ages gloves played a major role in acts of signing: treaties were regarded as signed and sealed after a glove had been handed over. In line with the spirit of the season, we have not overlooked the world of fur, where fashion designers are offering a sheer inexhaustible wealth of inspiration. In this spirit too, we wish you a year 2012 brimming with inspiration and enjoyment.

Mit dem Constance Halaveli Resort eröffnete im Sommer 2009 die Constance Hotels<br />
Experience erstmals auf den Malediven ein traumhaftes Luxusresort, das sich auf einer<br />
Privatinsel im Nord-Ari-Atoll befindet. Von der Hauptinsel Male wird der paradiesische<br />
Ort in nur 25 Minuten per Wasserflugzeug bequem erreicht.<br />
Eingebettet in das Ari-Atoll und in der Form eines Dhoni (traditionelles<br />
maledivisches Boot) liegt die Insel Halaveli mit dem Fünf-Sterne<br />
Constance Halaveli Resort.<br />
Glitzerndes, türkisblaues Wasser und feinster weißer Sand kontrastieren<br />
mit dem üppigen Grün der tropischen Flora und bieten eine atemberaubende<br />
Kulisse – optimale Voraussetzungen zu ganzheitlichem<br />
Genuss und vollendeter Entspannung.<br />
Das Constance Halaveli Resort verfügt über 57 Wasservillen (100 Quadratmeter),<br />
die auf Stelzen über dem türkisblauen Wasser gebaut und<br />
mit einem großzügigen Sonnendeck sowie privatem Pool ausgestattet<br />
sind. Dazu kommen 20 einstöckige (350 Quadratmeter) sowie acht<br />
zweistöckige Strandvillen (410 Quadratmeter), zu denen je ein privater<br />
Garten sowie ein Open-Air-Badezimmer mit Wasserfalldusche<br />
und Pool gehören. Absolutes Highlight des Resorts ist die Präsidenten-<br />
Strandvilla (700 Quadratmeter), ein paradiesisches Refugium mit betörender<br />
Kulisse.<br />
Alle Villen sind klimatisiert und bieten eine komfortable Ausstattung<br />
auf höchstem Niveau. Diese beinhaltet unter anderem Satelliten-<br />
TV mit LCD-Flachbildschirm, DVD-Spieler, WIFI-Internetanschluß<br />
(kostenfrei über das Apple Mac Mini-Entertainmentsystem), Ipod-<br />
Anschluss und einen kleinen Weinkühlschrank mit einer Auswahl an<br />
Weinen sowie eine Tee- und Kaffeezubereitungsmöglichkeit. Entworfen<br />
wurde die gesamte Einrichtung des Resorts mit dem besonderen<br />
Blick auf das Detail vom international renommierten Interior Designer<br />
Martin Branner.<br />
Die Gäste haben zudem die Möglichkeit, im hoteleigenen Spa de<br />
Constance – einem kontemplativen Ort der Entspannung, inneren<br />
Reinigung und Revitalisierung – zu relaxen sowie Geist und Seele in<br />
Einklang zu bringen. Es handelt sich um ein ganzheitlich angelegtes,<br />
