Our cover feature is devoted to the “adamas” – the most noble and unyielding of all precious stones. This leads us to the legendary Duke and Duchess of Windsor and their almost 40 years of mutual passion for Cartier and the fine art of jewellery. We also turn our attention to an accessory imbued with symbols: the glove. In recent times the glove has assumed the role of an indispensable accompaniment for the fashion conscious, yet in the Middle Ages gloves played a major role in acts of signing: treaties were regarded as signed and sealed after a glove had been handed over. In line with the spirit of the season, we have not overlooked the world of fur, where fashion designers are offering a sheer inexhaustible wealth of inspiration. In this spirit too, we wish you a year 2012 brimming with inspiration and enjoyment.

Das Restaurant „le cheval blanc“ befindet sich im denkmalgeschützten ehemaligen Herrenhaus<br />
von Gut Mydlinghoven, welches in den letzten Jahren liebevoll restauriert wurde.<br />
In einem exklusiven Rahmen bietet Ihnen unser Küchenchef Ron Hennig mit seinem Team sowie<br />
der professionelle Service unter der Leitung von Cathi Klein eine vollendete „Neue deutsche<br />
Küche“. Lassen Sie sich von ihrem Können überzeugen und verbringen Sie einen genussreichen<br />
Aufenthalt in unseren Räumen des „le cheval blanc“ oder auf unserer Terrasse. Die wechselnde<br />
Speisenkarte folgt dem Lauf der Jahreszeiten.<br />
Zudem stehen für Feiern und Tagungen stilvolle Banketträume für 10-140 Personen sowie 25<br />

The former stud farm nestles in a small valley in<br />
the parish of Hubbelrath and its elegant, stylish architecture<br />
immediately catches the eye. The special<br />
atmosphere of the place is evoked by its two large,<br />
spacious inner courtyards and the charm of the immediate<br />
surroundings with age-old trees, winding<br />
pathways and the water lily pond in the nature reserve.<br />
The restaurant Le Cheval Blanc is located in the<br />
listed former mansion house at Mydlinghoven Manor<br />
and has been restored over the past years with loving<br />
care. Our chef de cuisine Ron Hennig and his team<br />
together with the professional service staff under<br />
the management of Cathi Klein offer you superlative<br />
