TROUBLESHOOTING<br />
GENERAL<br />

Unit will not power on. 1. Radio fuse blown. 1. Install new fuse with correct rating.<br />
2. Car battery fuse blown. 2. Install new fuse with correct rating.<br />
3. Illegal operation. 3. Press the [RESET] button located in the<br />
bottom right corner of the front panel.<br />
Remote control does not function. 1. Battery depleted. 1. Replace battery with new one.<br />
2. Battery installed incorrectly. 2. Remove battery and install correctly.<br />
No/low audio output. 1. Improper audio output connection. 1. Check wiring and correct.<br />
2. Volume set too low. 2. Increase volume level.<br />
3. Improper “MUTE” connection. 3. Review wiring diagram and check<br />
“MUTE” connection.<br />
4. Speakers damaged. 4. Replace speakers.<br />
5. Heavily biased balance setting. 5. Adjust the channel balance to the center<br />
position.<br />
6. Speaker wiring is in contact with metal<br />
part of car.<br />
6. Insulate all speaker wiring connections.<br />
Poor sound quality or distortion. 1. Pirated disc is in use. 1. Use original copy.<br />
