When needed, the KTM Neck Brace can safely arrest dangerous movements<br />
of the head in both race and road use. The forces arising are transferred<br />
effectively from the neck to the upper body. The neck brace offers<br />
scientifically and technologically advanced protection against:<br />
» Hyperflexion (extreme forward movement of the head)<br />
» Hyperextension (extreme backward movement and overstretching of the head)<br />
» Lateral hyperflexion (extreme movement of the head to the side)<br />
» Axial loading (compression of the spinal column due to a corresponding load on the helmet)<br />
» Posterial hypertranslation (rearwards shunting of the head into the neck)<br />
» Uncontrolled movements of the head / helmet in the event of a crash<br />
» Energy-absorbing material on the outer surface and body contact surface<br />
» CoreFlex in the thoracic spinal area with predefined breaking point for heavy impact situations<br />
